Travis Kelce sometimes gets visibly upset just because he is passionate about football. We’ve seen him thrash his helmet to the ground in the previous game, and at the start of this one, something happened with Isaiah Pachecho that got Travis Kelce riled up after a bad start. Despite all the odds against him and Mahomes being considered an underdog, the Chiefs proved everyone wrong again.

After the game concluded, Andy Reid appeared in the presser and talked about what the Chiefs did wrong, even though they won. He also gave insight into what transpired between him and Travis Kelce in the first quarter of the game. From the inside, it seemed like Kelce was angry at Coach Reid over something, but the truth couldn’t have been further from what we saw.

Upfront, Travis Kelce seemed angry at Andy Reid. He looked like he was pushing the coach because he was angry at Isaiah Pachecho for fumbling the ball. Andy Reid seemed entirely unaware of Kelce heading toward him. The reporters asked him about the incident. Reid mentioned it as Kelce’s enthusiasm to win the game and score against the 49ers..

“He caught me off balance; I wasn’t watching. Cheap shot, but that’s alright.” He described it as the TE’s eagerness to score a touchdown. The coach took his behavior as being influenced by the competition. The Chiefs TE didn’t score touchdowns throughout the game, but his contribution to the game isn’t to be discredited at all.

When no one could get past the 49ers, it was Travis Kelce who got a handful of first downs and helped the Chiefs get a couple of yards closer to the win with every catch he made.

What Kelce did that helped the Chiefs to achieve a massive win?

To start with, the Chiefs TE had attained 5 first downs for the Kansas City Chiefs, which In tur translated to the plays needed for the win. Despite no touchdown, Kelce had a decent run in the Super Bowl with 9 receptions over 93 yards.

He was targeted 10 times but caught 9 of those passes, averaging 10.3 yards per reception. His longest reception was 22-yards as he established the Chiefs to win the Lombardi, one yard at a time.

After the game, he spoke to the reporters about the win, his beard to be exact. He mentioned how his beard growing has been a proof of his grind and that he might just cut if off and keep it in a Ziploc bag after tonight’s legendary game.
