DaRon Bland has shattered all the expectations of a CB. Following a thunderous display against the CB, the Dallas Cowboys starlet has become the talk of the town. This has inspired many in the NFL fraternity to note his impressive performances of late. One of the latest admirers of his performances has been Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill.

The WR has had a stellar season himself in NFL 2023. And his latest tweet in admiration of the CB was a subtle hint at what he could produce as one himself.

Tyreek Hill issues a compliment?

The superstar WR has seldom divided opinion but has always garnered admiration for his on-pitch performances. His latest comment about the Cowboys’ CB was a compliment masked as a potential, yet humor-filled joke.

The WR tweeted, “Bland giving everyone a sample of what I’m going to look like at corner next year“. In simple terms, it can be interpreted as a direct suggestion that he wants to change his role, but that is highly unlikely. But the essence of the tweet was nothing but admiration for the CB who just broke the history books with his 5th Pick Six of the season.

Not only that, Bland as a CB is more effective than Davante Adams and even Travis Kelce.

It was 38-10 in the game when the Commanders QB decided to throw the ball, but to his surprise, it was picked off by none other than Daron Bland and he ran for the end zone. With this 5th Pick Six, the Cowboys CB has earned his keep besides the likes of Eric Allen, Jim Kearney and Ken Houston. Not only this, Bland has more touchdowns than Travis Kelce, Austin Ekeler and even Davante Adams, some of the best known offensive players in the league.

Tyreek Hill was right in his assessment of Daron Bland, in that, he can also do the same things. In fact, he has been doing same things and is rushing to complete a target of 2,000 yards by the end of this season. But coming back to Bland, for him, the game against the Washington Commanders has propelled him to new heights of success. In just two years, Daron Bland has become a household name for the Dallas Cowboys franchise. Not only did he play offense, he came out with a total of 10 tackles in the game, out of which, 7 were solo tackles.

This might not come as a surprise anymore, but to some extent, Daron Bland may just be the backbone of the Cowboys. The only other Cowboy to surpass Bland in terms of TD’s is CeeDee Lamb, with 7 touchdowns to his name.
