The Mahomes family has watched Mia Randall grow through several milestones over the years, and now the youngest sibling is getting her own taste of high school life. While her older brother Patrick Mahomes continues to draw attention on the NFL stage, Mia has quietly entered a new phase outside the football spotlight. She wrapped up middle school at All Saints Episcopal School in Tyler, Texas, in 2025 before making the jump to high school. Now, in September 2026, another first has given the family a reason to celebrate as Mia attended her first high school homecoming.

Her mother, Randi Mahomes, marked the occasion with a sweet tribute, sharing a proud moment with her daughter as Mia stepped further into this new chapter. In true proud-mom fashion, she took to her Instagram and shared a photo capturing Mia’s first homecoming along with a caption, “Homecoming 2026 for my Mia!” along with a blue heart emoji.

In the post, Mia is seen donning a blue dress, paired with minimal accessories, while Momma Mahomes stands beside her holding a bouquet. The bouquet also has a white ribbon attached to it with “Hoco 2026” written on it.

The post quickly drew warm reactions from followers, with congratulations pouring in from fans who don’t often get a glimpse into this side of the Mahomes family. Among the first were her other son, Jackson Mahomes, who wrote, “So pretty!!!”

Patrick Mahomes’ 15-year-old sister, Mia Randall, was born on July 12, 2011, in Texas to Randi Mahomes through a separate, undisclosed relationship. Mia has grown into a multi-sport athlete in her own right, playing basketball, volleyball, and soccer, carrying on the same competitive streak that runs through the rest of the Mahomes-Martin family. But this fall, she was the center of attraction amid her transition to a new chapter of her life – homecoming. So, naturally, Randi couldn’t resist sharing the milestone.

It wasn’t the first time Mia had found herself in a moment that mattered. She was right there on the field when the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV in 2020, Super Bowl LVII in 2023, and again for Super Bowl LVIII in 2024, standing alongside her brother and the rest of the family as confetti rained down, a front-row seat to three of the biggest nights of Patrick’s career. Despite their nearly 16-year age gap, Patrick and Mia are close, as fans can see from Randi’s Instagram posts.

That front-row presence has become something of a pattern for Mia, not just a one-time appearance. She’s a regular at Chiefs games, cheering Patrick on from the stands in moments big and small, all of it carefully documented by her mother’s camera roll.

Last year, Randi also shared a celebratory post related to Mia, which reads: “Mia is the BEST! Class of 2029.”

She further penned, saying, “It’s hard to believe my baby girl is headed to high school. Watching @miablissss grow into such a smart, strong, and beautiful young lady has been the sweetest journey. Time, please slow down!! I’m so proud of you, Mia, and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do next.”

However, it doesn’t seem that time is slowing down for Mahomes’ little sister, as she is currently a high school sophomore for the 2026-2027 academic year, already celebrating her homecoming this time.

“Have a great time you deserve it, and so beautiful too,” one fan wrote.

That kind of warmth from strangers said a lot about how far Patrick Mahomes’ name travels, even into a moment as personal as a homecoming.

“You both look wonderful. Congratulations to Mia and have Fun,” a fan wrote while wishing Mia. Fans recognized the post as more than an update; it was a mother’s pride on full display.

The fans kept on showering their love on the mother-daughter duo, “Oh, how I miss those days. Why do our children have to grow up?! I wish I had a time machine.”

That comment struck the most universal chord of all. Beneath the excitement over Mia’s dress and her glowing smile was something every parent in the comments seemed to recognize instantly: the bittersweet ache of watching a child grow up faster than expected.

Mia may not be as well-known among football fans as her brother, but she has certainly made her presence felt on the field while rooting for Patrick Mahomes. For a family so often defined by championships, MVP trophies, and record-breaking seasons, Mia’s homecoming was a reminder that the Mahomes story has quieter chapters too.
