“She’s very nice, very genuine, knowing what I see from what I’ve learned and gotten to know. I just knew from day one that I did meet her. It’s kind of hard for me to look at Patrick because he’s my son, to know that people get excited about meeting him, and it’s still like, ‘okay, you’re still my son. I don’t look at you that way,’ and so I wanted to be able to treat Taylor or anyone else who came involved like just as normal as I would treat or be with anybody,” she said in a video on X.

“I think he was a sophomore or junior; it was all in. And I say she’s been around since my daughter was two, so 14 years she’s been around. She’s like a daughter to me.
