The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off a dominating 31-0 win over the Raiders. However, in this season, we are still missing the outclass Travis Kelce; his gestures off the field are stealing all the limelight.

Kelcebrothers Instagram account shared a video of Travis addressing children and fans at his annual Celebrity Challenge. The post was captioned as: “Travis at his annual Celebrity Challenge to benefit Operation Breakthrough and the Ignition Lab.” We can witness the charming side of Kelce in the video. He’s interacting with the audience, and this quickly drew praise on social media.

This is not just connected to Kelce alone; Kansas City is highly connected with this initiative. It not only handles the food requirements of around 700 local children, five days a week, but also helps them in projects, mental health awareness, and after-school programs.

Kelce has been part of this move for a long time now. Earlier, he explained how Operation Breakthrough changed his viewpoint. Kelce remarked, “I was fortunate to be able to sponsor the OB Robotics team, through my foundation, 87& Running.”

And that bond has grown into an enduring devotion with his 87 & Running foundation.

His dedication only grew stronger after re-signing with the Chiefs. “The vision is to give them a safe haven where they can continue to find role models, discover interests and develop skills once they age out of OB’s after-school program. I’m so excited to be purchasing a building adjacent to OB’s MakerCity that will be the future home of “The Ignition Lab, powered by 87 & Running.”

Kelce’s initiative is similar to his quarterback and close friend, Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes, with his wife, recently organized the sixth annual “15 and the Mahomies” Gala. The gala raised $1.5 million and was graced by familiar faces, such as head coach Andy Reid. Like Kelce’s initiative, 15 and the Mahomies is dedicated to helping children live healthier, happier lives.

The two superstars of the Chiefs are teaching the younger generation about the importance of giving back to the community that gave them everything.
