At the Super Bowl LVIII celebration party, the 28-year-old had a special guest decked in a backless ivory gown with embellishments, complementing his maroon attire and those two gigantic Super Bowl rings. Chris Oladokun will be starting in Week 16
Despite Oladokun’s efforts to keep his private life away from the limelight, it’s bound to be uncovered now that the reins of the Chiefs’ kingdom are in his hands. Backup Minshew started Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans. However, after his eight pass attempts, he left the field with a knee injury. Then came Oladokun, serving as primary backup to Minshew.

He’s already making a splash. Even though he has thrown just one career pass since his rookie year of 2022, he connected on a solid 18-yard pass with wide receiver Hollywood Brown in the first half of Week 16. Perhaps, head coach Andy Reid’s confidence in Oladokun might prove justified, since he’s not expected to bring outside reinforcements.

Before Week 16, he had appeared in one more game in 2024 against the Denver Broncos, where he threw for five rushing yards. With the Chiefs, he has two Super Bowl rings to his name as a member of their active roster. The silver lining? He’s not in a high-stakes game, freeing him to shine. It’s already looking good with him going 6-of-8 for 45 yards in the first half.
