Colts fans may not miss their starting quarterback Anthony Richardson following his serious oblique injury. The man is currently healthy, but the team is not putting him in danger right now and will give him more time to recover. For the time being, Joe Flacco is the starting quarterback, with Richardson being the backup QB for him. The surprising thing is that Flacco has only a $4 Million one-year contract with the team which is way less when compared to Richardson’s $34 Million four-year deal.

Many of you have witnessed how talented the quarterback is, as he has made some incredible throws with a completion percentage of more than 70% in three games. When will Anthony Richardson be back on the field?

Following the Colts’ Week 6 victory, the head coach discussed the idea of the starting quarterback returning. The HC indicated that the team practiced with Anthony Richardson for the whole of week 6 but ultimately altered their minds owing to a lack of risk. The head coach even mentioned that the primary quarterback may return in the next week if he is fully healthy.

Although this was a possibility, the team will evaluate Joe Flacco due to his great statistics. Let’s take a look at how both the quarterbacks performed overall so far in this season.
