Brock Purdy and George Kittle have a robust and friendly bond. The two key players of the San Francisco 49ers are gearing up to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on February 11. Therefore, both teams are in rigorous practice during their playfully called “bye week.” But there is some commotion in the 49ers squad, which Purdy recently revealed.

Most of the San Francisco team’s players have shown their prowess this season, ultimately reaching Super Bowl LVIII. However, Purdy was the only player who constantly faced backlash despite showing his leadership and worth. His team, including Kittle, backed him up with five reasons. And now, Purdy is back to playfully recalling his annoying habit yet praising his talent.

In a pregame press conference, quarterback Brock Purdy spoke to the media about how he is preparing for his first Super Bowl appearance against the reigning champions, the Chiefs. Apart from this, Purdy revealed George Kittle’s annoying habit that the team loves, and praised his star tight end. When asked how Kittle “keeps things loose on game days,” Purdy said, “He keeps it fun, man like he just has a good perspective on playing the game of football. Obviously, you got to be so detailed in what you do, and every little play and moment is huge, we all.

He also mentioned that despite the seriousness of football, Kittle reminds everyone that they are playing a game and encourages everyone to have fun. The quarterback appreciated Kittle’s perspective, emphasizing the importance of enjoying every moment on the field, as “you never know we’re going to have a team like this again.”

Additionally, Purdy accepted that sometimes he’s a little annoyed by Kittle’s playful mode and called out, “You know sometimes I’m a little annoyed. I’m like, come on, dude, let’s get into it, but he brings me back down to having some fun with the game, so we all love it.

After defeating the Detroit Lions in the NFC championship game, the 49ers held a press conference where George Kittle compared his quarterback, Purdy, with “water dragons.” In the game, Purdy showcased his ability to escape the pocket and rush for 48 yards. Kittle expressed his desire to see the quarterback use this skill more.

Ever seen one of the water dragons run across the water? That’s what I envision every time he’s running with the football.” Additionally, Kittle emphasized Purdy’s impact on the team, noting that when he plays at a high level, it elevates the performance of everyone around him.
