The Washington Commanders hit rock bottom on Sunday. What was supposed to be a bounce-back week turned into another nightmare as they suffered a 44-22 loss. The Burgundy and Gold looked lost on defense from the first snap. By the time it was over, the scoreboard said it all. Afterward, head coach Dan Quinn faced the media, and let’s just say, he didn’t hold back.

When asked what kind of changes fans could expect, Quinn didn’t sugarcoat it. The frustration was visible.
“Honestly, post-game, I’m not there yet. I don’t have thoughtful answers and decisions and personnel. But like I said, I understand you have to ask that, but I’m not there yet to figure it out. So I’ve got a lot to look at tonight as we get into the week and this game, and then bye.”

That’s not exactly what Commanders fans wanted to hear, but it was real. Right now, Washington sits at 3-7, and the frustration is boiling over. Dan Quinn made it clear he’ll not sit quietly.
“We’re gonna do everything we can this week to make sure we can play like we’re capable, fix some of these issues. And so to me, that’s kind of where my time of vision is. I start with that.”

Still, talk only goes so far. Quinn already tried shaking things up. He pulled defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr. down to the field to call plays this week. But nothing changed. The Lions moved the ball at will. The Commanders’ defense looked slow, confused, and completely over matched.
Meanwhile, over on the other sideline, Dan Campbell took control of Detroit’s offense and turned it into a fireworks show. The Lions scored touchdowns on their first three drives, and Washington’s defense folded like a cheap tent. The same mistakes. So, Dan Quinn also took a shot at the locker room.
