This season appears to be exceptional for the 49ers running back. Christian McCaffrey’s touchdown streak continued on Sunday. With this, the running back, popularly known as the ‘robot,’ solidified his position as a strong contender for the MVP.
The San Francisco 49ers competed against the Arizona Cardinals on December 17, at State Farm Stadium. Earlier, McCaffrey achieved a remarkable feat by scoring a touchdown in 16 consecutive games, surpassing the accomplishments of several Hall of Famers along the way. Now, the 27-year-old added another historic moment to the NFL record book during his latest game.

On Sunday, Niners’ faithful and Stanford witnessed Christian McCaffrey continue his trend of breaking records and delivering impressive plays. In the game against the Cardinals, McCaffrey scored 3 TDs, creating a significant franchise record. After securing two touchdown passes in the second and third quarters, the RB powered in another score from one yard out towards the end of the third quarter.

In the Week 4 game against the Cardinals, McCaffrey scored 4 TDs. In the latest Week 15 matchup, McCaffrey scored 3 more TDs, making it a total of 7 TDs against Arizona this season.
However, that’s not all! So far, the star player of San Francisco has 20 touchdowns in his name this season. And, his latest touchdowns were a huge contribution to the 49ers’ win as they dominated the Cardinals with a score of 45-29.

McCaffrey’s sensational game play!
Christian McCaffrey had a remarkable game vs the Cardinals. Brock Purdy connected with McCaffrey for a 5-yard touchdown just before half-time, securing a 21-13 lead. In the third quarter, he scored his second TD with a 41-yard run, widening the lead to 28-13. The RB caught a pass, fell, but quickly got up and sprinted to the end zone, showcasing his agility. Later, in the same quarter, he plowed ahead for a 1-yard touchdown, further widening the gap by 35-16.
The running back finished the game with five catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns, along with running for 115 yards and another TD. McCaffrey has 30 TDs in 25 regular season games with the 49ers. What’s more, he is now tied for the league lead in touchdowns this season alongside Dolphins’ RB, Raheem Mostert.
