Sarah Jane took to Instagram to announce her diverse ethnicity. Jane posted a story of her childhood photo captioned “1/2 Italian/Sicilian 1/4 English 1/4 Spanish. My entire life I thought I was 1/4 Cuban, and recently my dad told me no one was born in Cuba and that they moved there from Spain. So, I should probably do a 23 and me to confirm this part 1/4 Latina for now.”

Jane hails from Florida and studied criminalistics and criminal science at Florida State University. Before her recent post, fans knew little about her ethnicity. Now, things are clearer—though still a bit complex. Jane admitted she wasn’t entirely sure about her background. She revealed that her perception of Cuban heritage changed after learning her father’s family had moved to Cuba from Spain. For now, she identifies as one-quarter Latina.

Her parents, Paul and Jane Ramos, were previously thought to be of Cuban and Italian descent. But after her post, it appears the family might have Spanish roots, having only lived in Cuba for a time. That’s why she mentioned being one-quarter Spanish in her story.

Jane also confirmed that one of her parents is Italian, which makes her half Italian. And she’s one-quarter English, having been born and raised in Tampa Bay, Florida. Even if she’s still figuring out her heritage, one thing’s certain that she’s fully sure about her life and love with Dak Prescott.

The couple has been engaged since October 2024, and Jane has been Prescott’s biggest supporter and fan. That might be the reason why Prescott is leading the NFL QBR (81.2) rating and has covered 1,881 yards for 16 touchdowns in the 2025 NFL season. But blessings don’t end for them here.

This was Jane’s response to a fan who asked whether they wanted to have more children. She also wrote about whether Prescott wants a boy or a girl and what’s her expectation.

“For those asking if Dak wants a boy, he loves being a girl dad and I am the one who would love to have a boy. But healthy children and God’s provisions is all we pray for!” Jane wrote.

Jane has also announced her wedding timeline as during a Q&A session on Instagram, a fan asked when they are getting married, to which Jane replied “Thank you. This upcoming spring.”
