The Dallas Cowboys‘ 37-22 win over the New York Jets sparked celebration among fans, and within the Jones family. Riding the wave of victory, Charlotte Jones Anderson, daughter of team owner Jerry Jones, shared a bold one-word post alongside CEO Stephen Jones that perfectly captured the mood.

She proceeded to Instagram following the game, taking a photo with her brother, Cowboys CEO Stephen, and their family, smiling at the night’s winning triumph. Her caption? It was a resounding single word: “WINNING!”

The celebration is obvious. The Cowboys bounced back with a commanding triumph at MetLife Stadium, improving to 2-2-1 on the season. The victory eased pressure after last week’s tie with the Green Bay Packers and pushed the Jets deeper into a 0-5 slump. It also reignited Dallas’ playoff hopes, showcasing strength on both sides of the ball and silencing critics of their offensive rhythm and defensive reliability.

The photo featured Haley and Paxton Anderson, Charlotte’s children, and John Stephen Jones, son of Cowboys CEO Stephen Jones, among others. For Charlotte, the win carried deeper meaning, not just for the scoreboard, but as a release after a turbulent stretch that had pushed the team’s mental resilience to its limits.

One of the most energetic franchise executives, Charlotte’s declaration reflected the determination of a team that doesn’t stay down for long. She has been at the helm of the Cowboys’ off-field success for several decades. As the team’s Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, she joined the organization in 1990, a year after her father, Jerry Jones, purchased the team.

Among her many contributions, one of the most enduring is Charlotte Jones Anderson’s pioneering of the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving halftime show in 1996, now a staple of NFL entertainment and philanthropy. Originally launched with the Salvation Army, the event has grown into the Red Kettle Kickoff and has raised over $2 billion since its inception.

“We recognized that we could partner with an organization that was truly making a difference in the lives of those who needed the most help and magnify their impact,” Charlotte told Little Rock Soiree earlier. “It’s the most important thing we do at the Dallas Cowboys.” Her vision and leadership not only defined the Cowboys’ brand but also its greater impact off the field.

Turning to the ongoing drama both on and off the field, the New York Jets remain winless

Jerry Jones revels after the Cowboys’ win

On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys delivered a 37-22 thrashing of the New York Jets, their third game in five weeks scoring over 30 points. Quarterback Dak Prescott was sharp, while the running game, led by Javonte Williams, found its rhythm and proved effective.

It was far from a pleasant afternoon for Jets head coach Aaron Glenn and quarterback Justin Fields. The Cowboys’ defense, previously under scrutiny, roared back with five sacks and relentless pressure. Fields was under siege from the opening drive to the final whistle, managing just one touchdown late in the fourth quarter, long after the game had slipped away.

The Jets’ first four series of the second half came to rest on a punt, a field goal try, and two plays, a pretty accurate gauge of their entire offensive collapse.

However, this win gave Jerry Jones a chance to be Jerry once again.

A video circulated online, recorded by someone in the stands, showing Jerry Jones allegedly mocking Jets fans. He was seen flashing a middle finger at one individual, then pointing and laughing, adding to the fan’s embarrassment.

The Cowboys’ offense, meanwhile, was impeccable.

Even without injured star CeeDee Lamb (high ankle sprain), Dak Prescott and the Dallas coaching staff racked up 416 total yards. Prescott continues his standout season, currently ranked No. 10 in PFSN’s QBi. Javonte Williams set the pace with 135 rushing yards and two total scores, including a 66-yard burst early in the first half that gave Dallas control.

Dallas receiver George Pickens made a splash with a 43-yard touchdown catch off a play-action pass in the third quarter, pushing the Cowboys to 24 points.

The Jets’ defense offered little resistance, now having surrendered 27 or more points in all five of their opening games, the first team in NFL history to start 0-5 without a single forced turnover. For the Cowboys, Sunday’s effort was the clearest sign yet that the offense is humming again, and the defense is finally keeping pace.
