There seems to be finally some good news for the Dallas Cowboys. After injuring his knee with ACL, MCL, and PCL tears against the Cincinnati Bengals last season, Dallas linebacker DeMarvion Overshown had been out of action for almost a year. Now, with Overshown already practicing for the first time in 317 days this Wednesday, the 2nd-year LB is eyeing a return for the November 17 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, with a recent update on his knee.

DeMarvion Overshown rushed into the same field to practice with his fellow Dallas Cowboys teammates. The 25-year-old was seen wearing a knee brace during his practice session. While there might have been speculation about whether he has not fully recovered, the Cowboys LB took to X to reveal the real reason for wearing a knee brace. Overshown mentioned that it was just a precautionary measure, and there is no necessity for the knee brace.
“The Knee brace is an accessory not a necessity,” DeMarvion Overshown posted.

“Football is more than just a game to you. It’s a way of life,” DeMarvion said. “You play with that passion and that energy, and when you’re able to do it again, you never take it for granted… But it’s more so just being out there with my brothers, man. We grind all off-season, see each other work, and get better. So, me being out there to compete and play, and run around with those guys, I know they enjoyed it just as me.”
Agent 0 also shared that his injury did not wipe the smile off his face. He has a good family and was always smiling throughout these 317 days.

“Monday night primetime, zero will be making his debut,” said Overshown.
The Cowboys’ linebacker assured that he will be playing on November 17th against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium. On that day, Overshown will also be making history as he will become the first-ever Cowboys player to wear the number zero.
Many people have claimed that this injury is the worst and that it has been a career-ending injury for many. But Overshown told the media that despite the fact that this is the second time he has suffered a similar injury, he is confident to make a return and shut down all the naysayers.
“A lot of people claim that this knee injury is one of the worst of the worst, and not too many people come back the same afterward. I’m ready to put that to the test,” DeMarvion Overshown added via ESPN.
