At the start of the season, Skip Bayless said that he thinks the Dallas Cowboys are better than the Philadelphia Eagles. Furthermore, he predicted the Cowboys to have a remarkable run, stacking up wins in the season. But it seems the past few weeks’ performances of the team have compelled Bayless to rethink his words.

After a five-game winning streak, the Cowboys’ winning spree abruptly halted when they faced the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in a Week 15 game. Dallas experienced a harsh return to reality, suffering a 31-10 blowout loss at Highmark Stadium. Besides Cowboys fans, sports commentator Skip Bayless experienced a profound shock after Dallas’ disastrous loss, expressing his frustration on social media and referring to the team as “pretenders”.

The host of FS1’s Undisputed, Skip Bayless, is a superfan of the Cowboys and believed that this could be their championship-winning season. However, the recent performance of the team decreased the mightiness of Dallas in his eyes for sure. During the first half of the game against the Bills, where the Cowboys struggled and fell behind 21-3, Bayless expressed his frustration on Twitter about the team’s performance.

He said, “We are getting Cooked,” arguably signifying Bills RB James Cook’s great play. While the Bills dominated at Orchard Park, Bayless again took to X and expressed his frustration. Bayless transparently stated, “The Cowboys are not what I thought they were.” He went on to call them “fraudulent, pretenders, home-product ph*nies”.

The Bills scored more than the Cowboys in their game, with Buffalo totaling 351 yards compared to Dallas’ 195. The majority of this yardage difference of 156 yards, came from the Bills’ impressive 266 rushing yards. James Cook landed with a career-best 179 yards rushing and scored twice, ending the Cowboys’ five-game winning streak. This difference and the scoreboard overall were enough to infuriate Cowboys fans.

According to a report, Bayless posted more than 24 tweets during the game. However, this wasn’t enough for the sports commentator, as he took his frustration to another level.

Here’s how Skip Bayless got rid of Micah Parsons’ Cowboys jersey

In NFL losses like the Cowboys one, it’s often the fans’ verdict that irks players the most. The Cowboys, considered one of the best teams, suffered a miserable 31-10 defeat. Post-game, while the Bills celebrated their ‘complete win’, the Cowboys witnessed angry ‘national reactions’ from fans. Well, the team certainly wasn’t sharp on the road and couldn’t take control of the gear to lead the NFC East playoffs race.

Skip Bayless, who has somehow lost his faith in the team, stood out among these frustrated fans. He expressed his frustration by recording a video of himself coming to the kitchen room and throwing his Micah Parsons jersey in the trash.

Cowboys All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons, the quarterback Dak Prescott, and coach Mike McCarthy, all seemed to figure out how to play better in the game. Parsons also acknowledged the team’s shortcomings in a post-game conference, stating, “Honestly, it’s just unacceptable at this point. There’s no excuse for it. It’s mind-boggling…..We’ve got to get better on the road, and we’ve got to be road warriors throughout the playoffs now because of this.

And probably, that’s why Bayless failed to comprehend Parsons’ self-motivation and belief, leading him to assert that they are “fraudulent,” and disposing of Parsons’ jersey.

I resonate with movies, exploring places, and not missing a single NFL game. If the NFL is my love, then I have to say, ‘my love’ found me! I understand what it takes to be an athlete and perform at such a high level since I too have tasted small-time success in sports. As an athlete, I have bagged the coveted district-level championship in track events.
