‘Crossed the Line’ During Eagles-Colts Brawl, Jason Kelce’s Angry Side Revealed by Former Teammate After Retirement

Jason Kelce is very emotional, and his antics say it all. He helped a little Taylor Swift fan meet her idol. He helped people at the time of the Chiefs Super Bowl parade tragedy. Kelce had also been in other heartfelt incidents in the 2023 season. There was a time when the Philadelphia Eagles went against the LA Rams, and he got upset on national TV because of the Eagles’ shabby offense.
He’s hanging up his jersey and moving on to other life endeavors. Kay Adams invited DeSean Jackson on her podcast Up & Adams Show to talk about Kelce and what’s happening inside the Eagles organization. DeSean Jackson had a few things to recall about the former Eagles center. Also, an incident in the Colts-Eagles practice session aggravated Kelce.
Kelce ignites a beef against Indy

A skirmish broke out during the Colts-Eagles joint practice session. The Colts LB Zaire Franklin embraced the spirit and tackled the Eagles’ RB Kenneth Gainwell a bit too hard. Kelce didn’t let it slide and immediately confronted Franklin. Kelce was thrown to the ground by Indy players, and this ignited a beef between both sides.

They were shouting at the refs, who were ineffective in controlling the fight. Kelce later apologized for his outburst during practice. He addressed the media, saying, “It was an intense day,” and “I think we all love each other a lot, and I’m just up here to let everyone know, including the guys in there, that I crossed the line.”

In an interview with Kay Adams, DeSean Jackson defined Kelce as a “standup guy and a leader,” which is why he’ll stay in the hearts of NFL fans worldwide.
DeSean Jackson says Jason Kelce has “grit”
Kay Adams wanted to know about the Kelce retirement action. She inquired the 3x Pro Bowler about the Eagles locker room situation as Kelce gives it up after 13 seasons. The former wide receiver shed light on Kelce’s career and said he is a “leader” and an Eagle through and through. Jackson might be the correct person to ask about the Center because he played with and against him.

Jackson added, “When he get mad or something don’t go his way where that anger come out he different man. But uh I’m very impressed about what he able to do his whole career in the league I think what he played 13 years and uh winning the Super Bowl you know doing the podcast. I think him and his brother in my book the best of the best you know.
“It’s kind of hard to hear Jason Kelce you know putting his please down man. For me Jason Kelce day one of coming into the building I’ve seen he had that grit in him. He’s Philadelphia he’s Philadelphia passion, hard soul um just a standup guy a leader. And uh he had that grit you know when I say he got that grit you don’t want to mess with him,” said DeSean Jackson.
The assessment from Johnson stands correct. We saw how much Kelce cared about his team when he was visibly upset on the sidelines during the LA Rams game. He had often expressed his concerns about the Eagles being unable to score points in the red zone.

Most of the Eagles’ points came from Jake Elliott’s scoring. As commendable as it is, it causes concerns regarding how the Eagles ran their offense and proves the ground behind Kelce’s concerns and anger.
