The Dallas Cowboys didn’t have an ideal season. The team led by Dak Prescott looked presentable during the regular season but failed to capitalize on the momentum in the playoffs. Their performance against the Green Bay Packers witnessed them struggling and missing on their A-game. In the course of such situations, it is only a matter of time before fans and media come forth with a strong stance. That is exactly what Dak Prescott and Co. found themselves face to face with.

After a disappointing 2023, the Cowboys players and coaches received a lot of criticism online. The team’s QB faced a two-edged sword—an uncertain contractual scene and an underwhelming playoff result. However, amidst these times, there is one individual who has always stood beside the player. It is none other than Dak’s older brother Tad Prescott. He is Prescott’s outspoken sibling, who has supported his brother and backed him up against the criticisms.

He has been involved in running the family’s businesses and supporting Dak’s football career. Tad got married to Holy Prescott in March 2023, and they have a son named Jace McKenzie Prescott II, born in February three years ago. Additionally, Tad is reportedly a father to a daughter named Kennedy, who shares a close relationship with her uncle Dak.

The two brothers, Dak and Tad also share a great bond, to the extent that Tad is often seen falling under odds for fighting for his brother QB and his alleged rights.

After the Cowboys suffered yet another early playoff defeat, both the team and their fans, including Dak Prescott’s family, were feeling disappointed. He tweeted on his official X account, “Cowboy fans why continue to DM me TRUST ME, if I could get @dak to leave Dallas I would. I too want him out of Dallas. The city and organization have been great to he and our family, but done with drama and the so called fans, but he loves this team, and wants to bring it rings.” Additionally, there was a growing frustration among Cowboys fans and Dak’s brother about the team’s lack of spending in free agency.

On the first day of NFL free agency, the Philadelphia Eagles made significant moves by signing players like Saquon Barkley and Bryce Huff, while the Cowboys lost Tony Pollard to the Titans, and Tyler Biadasz is expected to join the Commanders. Tad Prescott praised the Eagles for their proactive approach to improving their team, allegedly criticizing Jerry Jones and the Cowboy’s management.

Later, sports broadcaster, Stephen A. Smith called out for Tad, saying, “I’m gonna tell you, Tad Prescott, why everybody should be sick of you and you should shut the hell up. Because you’re implying that your brother had nothing to do with the troubles that the Dallas Cowboys have experienced.” Although the elder Prescott hasn’t said anything about it, he keeps on backing his brother Dak every time. Thus, showcasing the supportive bond they share.
