The holiday season has arrived, filled with philanthropic spirit for Dak Prescott! As the Dallas Cowboys QB is recovering from his hamstring injury, he is keeping himself holistically preoccupied with giving back to the community. Through his charitable Faith Fight Finish (FFF) Foundation as he has partnered with DICK’S Sporting Good for the holiday campaign, he brought smiles to the faces of 30 kids from St. Philip’s School.

Prescott, through his IG handle, @_4dak shared the post by the FFF foundation on his story. With the beautiful cheers of the onset of Christmas vibes. Children were clad in red, and Prescott posed alongside them.

The post caption gave due credit to all the involved entities, as it read, “Tis the season! 🙌🏽 The Faith Fight Finish Foundation had the honor of bringing 30 amazing kids from @stphilips1600 School to Dick’s Sporting Goods for an unforgettable holiday experience.

Not only did Prescott surprise them with his presence, but he also gifted them with a $500 shopping spree. Hence, the star QB spent a massive $15,000, allowing the kids to initiate a step towards fulfilling their sports dream.

Besides this, ‘Ruthie’s For Good‘ was also tagged. The event became more special with their delicious grilled cheese sandwiches so that their energy did not run down. The post concluded with the refrain, “It’s all about creating memories, spreading joy, and supporting the next generation. Let’s continue to fight the good fight together! Merry Christmas!” Prescott had established the FFF foundation to honor his late mother, Peggy, who passed away due to colon cancer in 2013.

It is also in memory of his brother, Jace, who he lost due to suicide in 2020. And, Prescott intends to help youth and families to navigate adversities with his initiative.

But, this was not the first association for Dak Prescott with Dick’s Sporting Goods. Previously, during their holiday campaign, he took part in a festive decorating challenge with Simone Biles and others.

DICK’S Sporting Goods’ Texas-sized holiday celebration brought together various sports icons with Prescott, i.e., Simone Biles, Chris Paul, and Quinn Ewers. Prescott and Olympic icon Simone Biles did a friendly challenge, as they pitched each other for a $100,000 Sports Matter grant.

Each of the athletes had to transform a local store into a holiday wonderland. And Prescott, who was representing Dallas, built a gingerbread football locker room with blue lights. That to represent his native team, the Cowboys.

Talking about his decoration, Heavy.com highlighted his appreciation in their article on Dec 3. Moreover, Prescott remarked, “I was blown away. That’s as good as my name being in the same locker room as some of these great teammates I play with.”

Biles, on the other hand, went on to represent Houston. She decorated the store with gold accents for her Olympic victories. The $100,000 grant offered by DICK’S Sports Matter program was meant to support local youth sports organizations, to help the next-gen athletes actualize their dreams.
