Is Dak Prescott out of the MVP conversation after the Bills completely dominated the Cowboys? The QB has surely taken a hit after losing to the Bills. Interestingly, Brock Purdy entered the chat after the 49ers demolished the Arizona Cardinals. Tua Tagovailoa also led the Miami Dolphins to a flawless victory, without Hill!

A lot happened tonight, and the question arises: who is winning the MVP this year? Is it Mr. Irrelevant, or Josh Allen? A lot of interesting tweets are floating on X in the wake of these games. This SNF was amazing, and it seemed like Purdy was ahead of everyone in the MVP race, as Prescott is seemingly done for.

A tweet from David Lombardi suggests that Brock Purdy might just become the MVP this year as Dak Prescott and the Cowboys lost to the Bills in a 31-10 game. Dallas’ deficit till the second half was their highest this year. Prescott was 21 for 34 in this game and passed for 134 yards with no touchdowns.

ESPN’s Mike Greenberg also tweeted out that it might be Purdy’s award, unless Josh Allen and the Bills come on top of the AFC East. Greenberg, just like David Lombardi, thinks that Prescott is out of the MVP conversation. It is undeniable that the QB came out with embarrassing numbers tonight.

It’s not just Greenberg and David who think that Purdy is a huge MVP contender. CBS also thinks that Purdy is ahead in the MVP race and Prescott doesn’t stand a chance.

Talking about the QBs, it’s only fair to mention Tua Tagovailoa, who led his team to a 30-nil win without their star player, Tyreek Hill. The 10-4 Dolphins are at the top of the AFC East, and they made it after one of the most embarrassing losses of their season.

But as far as Purdy is concerned, he is in a league of his own. From being dubbed a ‘system QB’ and ‘Mr. Irrelevant’, he led the 49ers to the top of their division. It’s finally time for these labels to go away.

Brock Purdy: On top of the league again

The 49ers’ play-caller made 16 out of his 25 passes for 242 yards and came out with a passer rating of 135.3 by the end of the game. Not to mention the 4 touchdowns. At one point, Purdy was responsible for leading his team to more than 11 straight wins in the regular season.

The road to playoffs was a bit bumpy, as he faced some disappointments here and there. It can’t be ignored that the 49ers were on a 3-game losing streak a couple of weeks ago when they lost to the Browns, the Vikings and the Cincinnati Bengals, just after the blowout game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Coincidentally, they stayed consistent in those losses as they had 17 points in each of those games. However, Purdy is where he needs to be as a young athlete. As for the 49ers, they are on the biggest win streak of the season with 6 games under their belt after tonight’s game against the Cardinals.

One take at a time

Basketball has stuck with me ever since I was a kid. I remember watching Kobe Bryant sometime in 2008 and being blown away. Like every kid my age, I was utterly taken aback by his moves and abilities as an athlete.
