Cowboys Cheerleader’s first bald performance spread massively on the internet.  Even Clarence Hill Jr. Cowboys senior reporter, also took to his official X handle to adore the cheerleader’s audacious move. Along with sharing the vibrant picture of the Latimer, he has congratulated her and shown gratitude towards her.

Undoubtedly, her confidence took center stage for alopecia awareness, an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss. Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Armani’s move was a part of “My cause, my boots” for alopecia awareness, demonstrating her courage.

However, recently, during a discussion with Sabrina Talbert, Women’s Health’s editorial assistant, she disclosed her journey with alopecia areata. She revealed that she has been suffering from this major hair loss illness since the age of 12.

Alopecia areata badly affected her immune system and hair follicles caused patchy bald spots that appeared to get larger with stress. It was not easy to handle the situation, but she flawlessly battled with the hair loss illness.

Even with an optimistic mindset, she moved forward with the power of vulnerability. She remarked, “Once I truly embraced my new reality, I knew I wasn’t a victim.” Given that the condition affects many worldwide, she added, “I would rather speak out to bring awareness to this condition than allow people to think negatively about themselves.”

As per the National Alopecia Areata Foundation survey, more than 7 million in the US, and 160 million globally face alopecia and, women are more prone to it. Even earlier, Latimer had made several awareness posts on her IG handle for the weird hair loss medical illness

7 days back, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders also highlighted dancer Latimer for her support of Alopecia awareness. Taking to their official Instagram account, they posted the vibrant picture of Latimer while supporting Alopecia Awareness through her boots. Recently, Armani collaborated with the Cowboys’ official bootmaker, Lucchese, to spread awareness for this patchy hair loss disease. “Bold, beautiful, & breaking barriers ⭐️💙 Armani’s boots support Alopecia Awareness#MyCauseMyBoots,” they captioned the post.

Not only this, but 3 months back in September, the UofSC alum also took to her official Instagram account to spread Alopecia Awareness. Along with sharing her bald look snap on her IG account on Sept, 5, she proudly celebrated “Alopecia Awareness Month.”

Alopecia survival’s efforts to spread awareness for this disorder are relentless. 2 years back on December 5, 2022, Armani Latimer also posted a short video clip featuring her bald look while applying makeup to her face. Her heartfelt post caption truly touched many hearts, as she wrote, “ALOPECIA AWARENESS 🦋. Being 100% vulnerable is one of the hardest things that I’ve ever decided to do. As I’m wearing this star across my heart; I’m thinking and dancing for every single person that is dealing with Alopecia. I love you all 🤍” she wrote. Indeed, she is quite courageous and has motivated many to face the condition without losing heart.
