Dallas Cowboys rediscovered their offensive game big time to remain within touching distance of the Eagles at the top of the NFC East. Mike McCarthy’s side staved off a mid-game charge by the Rams to win 43-20 after enjoying an insane first half when they went up 33-9.

Dak Prescott: A dazzling gameplay

Dak Prescott was in fine form on the night as he completed 25 passes for 304 yards and 4 touchdown passes, even as he suffered one interception. After the Cowboys surged to 33-3 with just a minute left in the first half, the Rams got back with a touchdown thanks to a simple Royce Freeman 1-yard run. The veteran quarterback, Matthew Stafford, bolstered that moment further thanks to a 20-yard pass early in the third quarter.
The two touchdowns brought the Rams to within two touchdowns of parity. But this is when the Cowboys’ defense and offense stepped up, and thwarted any plans of a LA fightback. Like they have been all season, the Cowboys were brilliant on their yards per play with over 6 per play.
This win propels the Cowboys to 5-2 and just in time for one of the biggest clashes of the season–against the Eagles next week. The Eagles, meanwhile, mounted a massive comeback against the Commanders to win 31-24. Will the Cowboys be able to dominate the Eagles next? Tell us your thoughts!
