As the Red Army is making waves by winning two Super Bowls back-to-back and is heading towards their 3-peat, the other teams in the league are finding their piece to the puzzle of winning against them. So, is the wide receiver Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders. But what’s his plan? Adams revealed two major truths to overcome Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs.

In Thursday’s star-studded participation at American Century Celebrity Golf Championship at Edgewood, Nevada, Davante Adams joined others for practice and matchup. During the event, before sitting in a golf cart, Adams was asked a question by a reporter: “Davante, what the Raiders gotta do to overtake the Chiefs this season?”

After a short pause, Adams replied: “Win a lot of games, man!” Additionally, before revealing the second most important thing, Adams stopped for a second and eagerly responded, “May be a Super Bowl!” Well, now that’s an answer which every team is planning to execute this season for sure.

And meanwhile, Adams also wants his team to end a winning streak made by the Chiefs.

Davante wants to stop the Chiefs win streak!

Ahead of facing off against their AFC West opponent twice last season, Adams expressed his excitement to battle against Patrick Mahomes’ army. He said, “Well, when I watch on TV, I just watch the game. Sometimes, I pay more attention than other times. But if it’s an opponent that I’m going to play, I’m going to watch the tape, and I’m going to really dive into that,” indicating that he watched the Chiefs’ films.

He further stated, “We’ve got to do what we’ve got to do to stop that [Chiefs seven-year division win streak].” Before 2023 results, the Chiefs had won the AFC West for the past seven seasons, so Adams wanted his team to end their long winning streak. However, later in the season, neither Raiders nor other teams were able to stop KCC from becoming AFC West champions for the eighth time, then AFC Champs and, later, Super Bowl winners.

That’s probably why Adams is dreaming big this time: to defeat the champions, win most of the games, and ultimately win the Super Bowl.
