Dak Prescott is an icon on and off the field. At the same time, his cadence on the field is etched in the hearts of many. His efforts to give back to the community also hold much weight. The reason behind that might be his mother. Prescott lost his mother to colon cancer 10 years ago. Since then, he’s spent much of his life trying to put a smile on cancer patients’ faces. He did the same very recently.
His mother has been a “moral compass” for him and still is to this day. All this karma might have led the QB to welcome a new baby with his significant other, Sarah Jane Ramos. A recent X post from SportsDay Cowboys shows what Dak Prescott does to honor his mother’s memory.

With his mom as his moral compass, the #DallasCowboys QB is providing hope for cancer patients and their families. 💙”

The pictures show Prescott talking to the patients and their families in the meet and greet. In another picture, he’s seen giving a heartfelt speech while he talks to people. Everyone in the room has a big smile. The way he looks at the camera, it feels like Prescott has found his off-court calling and is content with what he’s doing.

“I would trade all of this away to have my mom back,” Prescott told DMN, adding, “It is hard to come here. It is hard at times to figure out what I want to say and how I want to say it and not get emotional. To meet these families and see my mom in some of these smiles, some of these eyes and not get emotional. Hear words my mom said and not get emotional.”
The Cowboys QB is invoking a positive change in society with these efforts. Through his Faith, Fight, Finish Foundation, he donates to the ailing to make their lives easier. Now, he has something else to look forward to.
Dak Prescott has a new light in his life
Prescott and his significant other welcomed a new baby girl. The couple named the girl Baby MJ on February 29. “A little bit of Heaven sent down to Earth,” wrote Sarah Jane Ramos in an Instagram post, adding, “I cannot wait to raise a strong, confident, beautiful baby girl with you.” Dak Prescott supported the baby’s mother by commenting, “I love you, and y’all can always count on me,” on the post.
