The Kansas City Chiefs brought the Cincinnati Bengals’ regular season to a dead end, and so did their playoff dreams. Ja’Marr Chase does not take kindly to the Chiefs and holds a grudge against them after his team finished last in the division with a 9-8 record. After he took shots at L’Jarius Sneed and the Chiefs’ defense, he was back to reignite the feud.

Chase was asked about who he thought was the best QB in the league, and without hesitation, he said, Joe Burrow.” The reporters looked shocked and asked why Patrick Mahomes was not on his list, to which he replied, “Pat who?” and Mahomes responded with a picture of him wearing his SB rings. That’s how deep the resentment runs! Well, Chase is back at his shenanigans once again.

After the Bengals were ousted and didn’t find a place in the playoffs, Ja’Marr Chase appeared on an ESPN talk show, and he was asked a simple question. The answer to that question reignited the beef between the WR and the Kansas City Chiefs. A tweet from Jeremy Rausch is going viral.

The tweet was captioned, “‘Anybody but the Chiefs.’ Ja’Marr Chase kept the rivalry alive when asked on SportsCenter who’s going to the Super Bowl. Tee Higgins also weighed in.” Chase was asked, “Who’s going to the Super Bowl, an AFC, or NFC team?”

He could have answered simply but replied, “Anybody but the Chiefs.” Tee Higgins was also present as the guest on the show, and he weighed in on the Baltimore Ravens from the AFC and thought that the Dallas Cowboys or the San Francisco 49ers from the NFC were most likely to go to the Super Bowl.

Ja’Marr Chase’s dismissal of Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs, and their defense has been running for several months. The resentment grew even stronger when the Chiefs defeated the Bengals in a 25-17 game.

Tensions had been building up leading to the game between the Chiefs and the Bengals. Things became worse when Ja’Marr Chase got involved in an altercation with L’Jarius Sneed in a shoving competition and was charged with unnecessary roughness. This happened in the second quarter of the Week 17 game.

After the game ended, Chase added fuel to the fire when he said“Their whole defense was mad at me. It started at the beginning of the game. You’ve seen it. Everybody’s seen it. That’s just what I like to do.” Last June, Travis Kelce advised Chase not to ever disrespect Patrick Mahomes,” but in hindsight, Chase had different plans.

Basketball has stuck with me ever since I was a kid. I remember watching Kobe Bryant sometime in 2008 and being blown away. Like every kid my age, I was utterly taken aback by his moves and abilities as an athlete.
