The Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback, Jalen Hurts, suffered from an illness. But the QB showed up for his team. The Eagles were leading the NFC East division, but their gridiron charm has faded in the past three games. Once a dominating force in the 2023 NFL season, the Eagles now face a challenge to clinch a victory after their three consecutive defeats.

Despite the struggling phase, the Iggles are standing up for each other’s support. QB Hurts who was questionable for the game against the Seattle Seahawks, entered the gridiron, and Jason Kelce revealed his opinion on the QB’s move post game. 

Jason Kelce applauds Jalen Hurts

Eagles Press Conferences YouTube channel uploaded a video featuring the Eagles’ center Jason Kelce. Kelce showed his respect for Hurts by saying,”He’s a warrior“. The center’s words were a way to appreciate his QB, who despite being unwell portrayed his best game against the Seahawks.

Kelce said, “I expect nothing less of the guy. I mean he’s proven to battle through stuff like this before.” He further added,”he’s a competitor, and you know obviously, the game didn’t go our way but you know he made some outstanding plays for us.”

The Eagles might have lost their week 15 matchup against the Seahawks but the strength and brotherhood between the teammates will surely make it easier for them to bounce back to their set reputation in the league. It is also noteworthy that despite throwing two interceptions Hurts had a good gameplay given the fact he was ill.

Hurts against the Seahawks

The Eagles lost the game to the Seahawks with a scoreline of 20-17. But the Eagles’ QB, Jalen Hurts, became the center of attraction. Despite illness, Hurts scored two rushing touchdowns. However, in the remaining 28 seconds of the game, the Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba which brought them to a lead of three points. This last-minute victory of the Seahawks continued their 15 years of dominance over the Eagles.

Since 2008, the Eagles didn’t win a single game against the Seahawks. In this week 15 matchup, the Seahawks leveled up the record to 9-0 against the Eagles. However, this game was something that an NFL enthusiast would admire for a prolonged period. Three more games are remaining for the Eagles in the regular season.
