The Kansas City Chiefs will soon be taking on the Green Bay Packers at the Lambeau Field in front of 80,000 people. An interesting match-up is due as Patrick Mahomes will be seen going against the Packers’ Jordan Love for the very first time this season. Also, the game could serve as an equalizer for the Green Bay team if they end up winning, securing themselves at 6-6. Addressing the game, HC Andy Reid sounds all excited to visit the Lambeau as he makes it known.

Coach Reid came forward in a presser and addressed various questions from the media. Apparently, Reid thinks that there are a lot of similarities between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers and has some thoughts about Jordan Love as well. The Packers and the Chiefs have a long-standing competitive rivalry and have faced each other for 14 games. While the Chiefs currently lead with 8 wins on their side, will the Packers be able to settle some score against the Red Army?

A reporter in the room asked Andy Reid about what he remembers from his days with the Packers and if he cherishes going back to Lambeau. The KC Head Coach replied, “Yeah, I mean the only time I go back is when we play there but listen, it’s a lot like Kansas City that way, they are passionate about football, and it is a neat environment. We look forward to that challenge of going up there and playing.”

Another thing that the Chiefs have in common with the Packers is the Super Bowl title, which Reid was quick to subtly refer to. He mentioned how he had a great time with the Packers, further being able to get a championship with the Green Bay team. He added that his experience with the Packers had been top-notch

Coach Reid even took a moment to answer the question about Jordan Love and seemed all in praise of the QB for playing great football and putting up exceptional numbers. Though the Chiefs haven’t faced Jordan Love for quite some time, Reid revealed about thinking highly of the young QB.

Another similarity between the sides draws from the QBs itself, as the numbers of the KC QB Patrick Mahomes are almost identical to that of Jordan Love in this season of the NFL.

While the scores of the QBs might be slightly resembling, the same can hardly be said about the team standings. The Packers are at 5-6 currently and haven’t found their footing in the season yet. They are third in the NFC North while the Chiefs are 8-3 after defeating the Las Vegas Raiders and stand tall in the AFC West side of things.

One take at a time

Basketball has stuck with me ever since I was a kid. I remember watching Kobe Bryant sometime in 2008 and being blown away. Like every kid my age, I was utterly taken aback by his moves and abilities as an athlete.
