Jared Goff is on the verge of registering his name in the NFL record books. There’s just one game standing between the Detroit Lions and their first-ever Super Bowl appearance. But with this SB visit, Goff could become the 5th man ever to achieve the feat twice with two different teams.

The first ever Super Bowl was played in 1967 and since then, only 4 men have been able to achieve this level of greatness. Can Goff join the ranks of these immortals?

The 29-year-old led the Los Angeles Rams to Super Bowl LIII in his third-ever season in the NFL. While he faced against Tom Brady-led New England Patriots, the Rams came up short. Losing 3-13 against the Patriots dynasty. Now, he might take the Lions to this festival of football as well. And by doing so, he will join these great quarterbacks:

Craig Morton

One of the greatest QBs in the 70s, Craig Morton, was the first ever to do it. The first time was in Super Bowl V when he led the Cowboys against the Colts, losing 13-16 in 1971. Then, 7 years later, he faced his old team, the Cowboys as he took the Broncos to the Super Bowl in 1978. Morton came up short this time again, as the Broncos lost 10-27.

Kurt Warner

Considered by many to be one of the greatest undrafted players in the history of the NFL. Kurt Warner first went to the playoffs in 2000 with the Rams against the Titans. Warner won the Super Bowl XXXIV 23-16.

This legendary quarterback won the Super Bowl with two different franchises. Peyton Manning’s first foray was in 2007 as he led the Colts against the Bears to win the Super Bowl XLI 29-17. And then he made history by winning Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos against the Panthers in 2016 by 24-10.

Tom Brady

This man holds too many records to his name. And apart from winning the highest number of Super Bowls, Tom Brady has achieved this unique feat as well. Brady first went to the Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2002 at XXXVI and defeated the Rams 20-17. Then in 2021, Brady led the Buccaneers to Super Bowl LV, defeating the Chiefs 31-9.
