With the outstanding success that the Detroit Lions have shown this season, it was expected that there would be many admirers. But many franchises are looking to poach their offensive coordinator Ben Johnson for the top job.

The former QB looks to be interested in being the head coach. But with so many options to choose from and so many suitors. Could Johnson end up in the capital?

Ben Johnson joined the Lions in 2019 from the Miami Dolphins. And he has been rising in stature ever since. However, it looks like the 45-year-old will soon get to wear the head coach cap. The Carolina Panthers, the Washington Commanders, the Seattle Seahawks, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Atlanta Falcons; all want him to be their HC.

Johnson has already conducted interviews with the Panthers and the Commanders. He has interviews scheduled with the rest of the teams today. However, reports suggest that he has almost bagged one job.

Last week against the Los Angeles Rams, the Detroit team made history. They won their first playoff game in 32 years. But the squad, including Johnson, knows that the job is not yet done. As there is much more history to be made and many records to shatter in the process.
