Did Ayahuasca Lead to Aaron Rodgers’ Faster Recovery, What Is the Factual Truth?

Is it the Ayahuasca medicine or another antidote that is keeping Aaron Rodgers incredibly active? When Rodgers sat at MetLife Stadium in pain, the football enthusiasts’ went into shock and feared for his condition. But when he was carted off the field, many fans realized that he wouldn’t be returning. Since then, his return to the gridiron has been the hope of his fans. Interestingly, now it appears that their wish might soon be granted.

A-Rod made his debut this season with the New York Jets after spending 18 seasons of his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers. However, just four plays into the game, within four minutes of the game, A-Rod was tackled by Buffalo Bills defensive end Leonard Floyd. Soon after, it was revealed that Rodgers had sustained an Achilles tear in his left leg. Nevertheless, the surgery was successful, and since then, the 4-time MVP has shown miraculous signs of combing back with his speedy recovery. But how can someone with an Achilles injury recover so quickly?

The ‘truth’ behind Aaron Rodgers’ speedy recovery!

In 2022, the legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed that he had experimented with a hallucinogenic drug called ayahuasca on more than one occasion. He referred to this drug as a “life-altering.” A-Rod also mentioned in a conference that it helped him win back-to-back MVPs after a challenging year in 2019. Furthermore, A-Rod claimed that ayahuasca had aided in his personal insight and growth, helped him find deeper self-love, connect with people, and inspire them. Now, as he recovers from his Achilles injury, many speculate whether the reason behind his speedy recovery is ayahuasca.

However, A-Rod and close sources have not confirmed whether he is using ayahuasca during his recovery process. So, what could be the reason for his faster recovery? The answer actually lies within the surgery itself. Just two days after getting injured, i.e. on 14th September, Aaron Rodgers underwent a successful surgery in Los Angeles. This surgery was done by a skilled orthopedics surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache and his team, who used a modern method to accelerate the recovery process.

The medical team used a “speed bridge or internal brace” to his left Achilles tear, and now the result is in front of all, especially his recent magical swiftness on the field.

Rodgers doing the impossible!

Aaron Rodgers has achieved some remarkable milestones this time, progressing from needing support to warming up without crutches. Normal Achilles recovery takes four to six months to be cured. However, in Rodgers’ case, it appears to be just 3 months. After his surgery, he was first seen at MetLife Stadium with crutches when his team played against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4.

Later, in the next matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6, A-Rod was spotted walking on the field without any support and practicing throwing the ball. Most recently, during the Jets matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers, Rodgers could be seen warming up, playing from his spot, and making some impressive passes. Interestingly, he showed strength in his recovering leg when dopping back and planting.

Although warming up isn’t the same as playing in NFL games, Rodgers will have to work hard to regain full strength in his left leg. However, Rodgers told Chargers’ safety Derwin James Jr. to give him a few weeks after the Jets’ loss, showing his determination to come back soon.
