Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are going against Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins in what was expected to be a close clash. With the weather playing against them, it is the cheering of the crowd that has kept the momentum alive more than ever in the game. We saw Taylor Swift making an entry in the Arrowhead with Brittany Mahomes also being present for her husband. But unfortunately, the Chiefs QB’s mother, Randi Mahomes could not make it to the game.

Randi Mahomes is apparently driving somewhere, but it doesn’t mean that she will miss out on watching her son try to win one of the coldest games in the history of the NFL. Her tweet seems to originate from Texas, making her a 9-hour journey away from her son’s game.

Hopefully, the mother of 3 gets to watch her son take over the GEHA Arrowhead further in the tournament. For now, everything is going well for the Kansas City Chiefs to maintain their dominance on their home field. They are hosting a comfortable lead of 19 points at the moment, giving hardly any chance to the Dolphins to further their score.

One thing to note is that the -4 degrees weather is helping the Chiefs reap all the advantages as they are accustomed to the environment. And it is the complete opposite of the kind of weather the Miami team gets to experience. The Dolphins are used to temperatures around 69 degrees Fahrenheit and the game is not doing them any favors at all. So, for now, it looks like Randi Mahomes’ wishes are coming true because the Dolphins had a very rough start.

Miami’s winning chances look bleak against dominant Chiefs
So far, the Dolphins have only managed to score one touchdown. Tagovailoa’s pass to Tyreek Hill captivated the Arrowhead Stadium, showing signs of a recovering Miami side. However, nothing came to fruition after that. In the earlier stages of the game, Eli Apple got injured and went out of the game, making matters harder for them. Yet, even with his return to the field, nothing seems to be going their way.

The defense of Miami earlier looked in control, by not allowing the Chiefs to score TDs with ease, especially controlling the Red Zone. However, things soon changed with the lead piling up for the Dolphins, courtesy of the field goals during the game. Further, apart from a few drops from Travis Kelce, the Chiefs have been consistent on the field, especially the struggling offensive side.
