Morning in Philly these days tastes like Wawa coffee and mild panic. A 4-1 record should feel great, but instead, the city is feeling the pressure. There’s a strange tension in the air, the team’s star wide receiver is sending signals, and now someone seems to have the right decoder ring for him. It’s not the first-time emotions have clashed between AJ Brown and Seth Joyner. Since early October, the beef has been escalating, and now the former Eagles linebacker has put an end to this with mic-dropping words.

The feud first ignited when Joyner replied to a now-deleted tweet asking Brown to “stand on it.”  The equation between the two has since then been hostile. After the Eagles‘ matchup against the Broncos, Joyner on the @SPORTSRADIO 94WIP podcast ended things for good. He explained to himself that all the cryptic tweets and chatter don’t do anything and make the situation worse. According to him, if you don’t tell the Philadelphia media what you mean, the Philly media will give you a meaning itself. He later mimicked Brown’s concern, which he mentioned in his emotional tweets that left everyone cracked up.

“I’m going to go a little AI on you for a sec. It’s Thursday afternoon, the Eagles of four and O. But we’re talking about AJ Brown not getting targets. seriously! The team is four and O, you’re right, dude, and we’re talking about AJ not getting targets one last time. John. The team was four and O last week, and all week long, we talked about AJ Brown not getting targets. Okay, I’m done with it,” he said.

There is no reply from AJ Brown yet, but this appears to be the last response from Seth Joyner, effectively ending things.

First season loss for Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles let a 14-point second-half lead slip away, falling 21-17 to the Denver Broncos, their first loss since late December. It came down to the final play, but heartbreak struck again. Jalen Hurts‘ pass from the 29-yard line fell incomplete in the back of the red zone as time expired.

After this, the Eagles took full responsibility for their actions. Costly penalties wiped away big plays, and the offensive rhythm just didn’t click. Saquon Barkley saw 9 just touches all game. Despite a 17-yard run in the first half and a 47-yard touchdown grab that put Philly up 17-3 early in the third quarter. Star wide receiver AJ Brown also could not create an impact. He was targeted just 8 times and managed 5 catches for 43 yards. But could not convert them into a touchdown.

Officiating didn’t help either. The most frustrating moment came on one of the game’s final plays when Jalen Hurts targeted tight end Dallas Goedert down the sideline. Goedert appeared to be clearly interfered with at the 3-yard line, but no flag came. That no-call robbed the Eagles of a golden chance, leaving what could’ve been a game-winning play on the field. Earlier, Cooper DeJean’s forced fumble on Bo Nix was overturned after a review.

This defeat will definitely be a signal for the Eagles and AJ Brown to tighten their cleats and remove any distractions that create obstacles in their performance.
