Philly fans had probably over-exciting ways of celebrating this year’s Valentines. 7 years! Yes, it took 7 years for Howie Roseman’s Philadelphia Eagles to bring back the Lombardi trophy to their city. However, it took just a few hours to ruin the Super Bowl parade. Philly saw a couple of ruining moments which turned out bloody on Friday, February 14.

Well, Eagles’ general manager Howie Roseman continued to enjoy the parade with a half-circle-shaped wound on his forehead. This happened when an over-excited fan apparently hit him on his forehead with a beer can during the parade. This incident resulted in an injury to Roseman as well as a buzz on social media. Nevertheless, Roseman doesn’t let the injury bother him, responding with: “I bleed for this city!” remarks.

Howie Roseman took the opportunity to make a positive reference to this injury episode. Despite being left bloody, he yelled at the Art Museum that he has deep loyalty, passion, and dedication for Philadelphia. Wow! That’s indeed a great way to hide the marks, putting up a brave face. After all, winning the Super Bowl does give the strength, pride, and confidence to make such remarks.

In the same way, with such confidence, Roseman promised that the team would deliver another exciting season in 2025. He expressed, “We’re two-time world champs and we’re coming back strong! Go Birds!

The pride was full-on in the streets of Philadelphia. Gov. Josh Shapiro also believed that. However, despite parsing the fans for a “hell of a parade,” Shapiro didn’t miss a chance to give a sarcastic tone on the beer can mistake – “Except for some of y’all who didn’t know how to toss a beer nicely. You fired it too hard! Just ask Howie Roseman.” Besides the GM, even rookie Cooper DeJean was also injured due to fan-thrown beer cans. But guess what? The Super Bowl parade featured not only festivities, pride, and fan moments but also incidents involving beer cans. It also witnessed a shooting occurrence at the parade.
