The Philadelphia Eagles‘ recent win against the Green Bay Packers made highlights, not only because of their commendable defence but also a near-miss celebration. After their linebacker Jalyx Hunt sacked the rival team’s running back, he couldn’t hold his emotions down, throwing a punch that fortunately missed the official’s face. However, instead of being sorry about the move, he issued a warning against the referees during his play.

After the win, Hunt boldly stood against the microphone to defend his aggressive celebration. Reacting to the clip that went viral, he issued a warning to officials, suggesting they maintain a safer distance from him.
“I saw it on the big game. I did that Super Bowl last year, too. They gotta stay away from me, gang. I’m hyped up. But, nah, I’m glad I did it high instead of forward. He would’ve been out of here,” he said, in a post-game interview.

During the Eagles’ 10–7 win over the Packers, linebacker Jalyx Hunt tackled Josh Jacobs for a four-yard loss and, in excitement, threw a hard celebratory punch. However, an NFL referee was standing very close, and Hunt’s swing almost hit him in the face. The ref quickly ducked to avoid the blow, and the moment went viral online.
The Eagles defeated the Packers because of their tough defensive game. Neither team scored in the first half, but Jalen Hurts sparked the Eagles with a deep pass to Saquon Barkley, followed by a 36-yard touchdown to DeVonta Smith. Josh Jacobs ran in a score for the Packers, but Philadelphia’s defense, led by Jalyx Hunt and Jaelan Phillips, held strong and blocked a last-second 64-yard field goal attempt to secure the win. However, amid the celebrations, another major update emerged from the trade window.

Philadelphia Eagles add up former Atlanta Falcons veteran
Veteran defensive lineman Ta’Quon Graham, who spent the past five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, has been signed to the practice squad of the Philadelphia Eagles after his release from Atlanta. During his time with the Falcons, Graham dealt with injuries, but when healthy, he was a steady part of their defensive rotation.

The Falcons cut Graham to make room for offensive lineman Andrew Stueber the day after the trade deadline. The move raised eyebrows because Graham cleared waivers and then quickly joined the Eagles’ practice squad. With the Falcons mounting trouble on the ground, their run defense surrendered a franchise-worst 323 rushing yards in one game. The decision to release someone like Graham drew attention.
Adding Graham could prove to be a smart depth move for the Eagles. The Eagles have invested heavily in their defensive line in recent years, drafting first-round players like Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter to build up the trenches. Graham brings experience and a rotational role capacity. He stands over a season with 34 tackles and eight quarterback hits in just 11 games.
