We all know how the Eagles’ defense made the Chiefs fans speechless in the Superdome stadium. One important part of Vic Fangio‘s defense was Milton Williams. The sad part is that the defensive tackle has hit free agency and is about to receive several offers from NFL teams. Before we delve into Williams’ perspective on a team change, let’s examine the market value of Jalen Hurts’ free-agent teammate, considering the significant interest and potential bidding wars.

According to reports (or potential rumors?), Williams would get a $84,000,000 deal of four years from one of the four teams that are interested in him. But just before revealing those four highly probable landing spots, you must have thought about what statistical worth Milton Williams holds. Well, the DT has made 11 solo tackles in the 2024 season while sacking the QBs one time in addition to one forced fumble. And to talk about his contract, Hurts’ Eagles had drafted Williams in 2021 for a four-year deal worth $5,110,171. Awesome, right? So what do you think, which teams would be interested in him?

Milton Williams doesn’t wanna leave Philly?

Though Williams expects a staggering $84,000,000 four-year deal, his heart beats only for the Eagles. In his own words, Jalen Hurts’s teammate has confessed his thoughts on the trade. Williams said, “Obviously, I’d love to be back in Philadelphia. But right now, I’m just trying to enjoy this moment with my teammates. The rest of that is going to take care of itself.” But hold on, he has also added more.

Milton Williams has said, “I’m pretty sure I’m going to end up where I’m supposed to be. I just put that in God’s hands.” This was his fourth season with the Eagles. In his last year of contract, Williams has landed a career-high 40 pressures to go with five sacks. But what if he ends up in the other NFL team?

On that note, his teammate said, “I feel like I definitely got the talent and the leadership skills to be able to do.” Williams further added, “Wherever I end up, whether it’s here or whatever, just get guys to buy into the togetherness and not being selfish, and not hating on one another, or fighting over who gets the stats and the sacks, or whatever.”

Talking about his love for the Eagles and playing in the 2024 season, Williams said, “I went out there and just showed the world what type of player and what type of person I am, and I’m going to try to continue to do that.” Now all that’s left is to see if William gets a rookie extension, or if he signs a new deal outside Philadelphia.
