The Philadelphia Eagles once were at the top of their conference. After their recent defeat against the Seattle Seahawks, the Eagles are second in the NFC East division and fifth in their conference. Their losses were harrowing since the Eagles had a record of 10-1. They are down to 10-4, with three consecutive defeats. 

Moreover, the Eagles are now trailing behind the Dallas Cowboys, putting the chances of winning their divisional championship for the 13th time in the dark. However, a firm hope remains for the Eagles to reign in the NFC East and even the NFC Conference.

After losing against the Cowboys in Week 14, the Eagles handed the top spot to the Cowboys. But the Cowboys’ Week 15 defeat against the Buffalo Bills allowed the Eagles to clinch the spot again. But the Eagles lost the chance to reach the top spot by losing against the Seahawks.

The Eagles have three games left, one with the Arizona Cardinals and the remaining two with the New York Giants. The Giants are in the third position in the NFC East, giving the Eagles a much-needed motivation to win both these games. Moreover, the Eagles will host the Cardinals at their home, increasing their chances of winning.

At the same time, the Cowboys will play their next two matchups against the divisional toppers, the Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions, before playing their last game against the Washington Commanders. If the Eagles win their three games, and the Cowboys lose any matchup, the former can clinch their divisional championship for the 13th time.

The Eagles are on a losing drill

The Eagles’ losing drill started with a defeat against the San Francisco 49ers. After this matchup, they lost against the Cowboys and the Seahawks, lodging a hat-trick of upsets. Despite suffering from illness, the Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts managed to lead his team against the Seattle Seahawks

Struggling with his health, QB Hurts scored two rushing touchdowns, but couldn’t ensure a victory for his team.
