Unfortunately for the Chiefs, wide receiver Rashee Rice will be out due to a concussion. He did not participate in practice at all and will not play on Sunday. However, Chris Jones, despite dealing with a hamstring injury, is expected to play. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday and participated fully on Friday. He was not given an injury designation and has not been ruled out for Sunday’s game.
When you look at the injuries the two teams are suffering, the Chiefs come out on top. They have nine players who have to miss this game due to injuries. Along with Rice, linebacker Leo Chenal will be out due to a shoulder injury. Cornerback Trent McDuffie and offensive lineman Jaylon Moore will be out due to injuries to their knees.

Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis’ inclusion is questionable because of his Achilles injury. However, he had limited participation. He is joined by offensive lineman Ali Gaye and Arden Key, tight end Gunnar Helm, wide receiver Van Jefferson, and safety Kevin Winston Jr.
Both teams are out of the playoff race and will play for pride. However, Chiefs fans are also worried about the season-ending injury to Patrick Mahomes. The quarterback suffered an injury in the 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. However, Mahomes underwent surgery after suffering multiple torn ligaments in his left knee. His mother, Randi Mahomes, had a heartfelt message for the fans who supported them in tough times.
