For reasons more than one, Kansas City Chiefs star Tight End Travis Kelce will not forget the 2023 season in a rush. Both on the professional and personal front, the 34-year-old star has witnessed quite a rise. While the Chiefs have witnessed the best of Travis Kelce this season, his rumored relationship with American Pop Icon Taylor Swift has garnered a lot of attention off the pitch.

While Travis has been subjected to a lot of criticism, and trolling in the past, one person who has seen him from close quarters is his mother, Donna.

Momma Kelce opens up about Travis

The 71-year-old woman who is also enjoying the status of a celebrity of late, in her latest interview, reveals what makes Travis a tough cookie, on and off the NFL pitch. “Travis is the type of individual where if you’re going to say that he’s not good enough, or that he’ll not be able to handle it, it just pushes him more. It’s a fire within him to prove everyone wrong.” Donna Kelce told Fox News Digital

When the rumors of Taylor Swift dating Travis Kelce picked up momentum, Travis Kelce’s critics took a pot shot and made several statements. The 34-year-old TE remained mum, but his mommy has come out all guns blazing.

“Because there were some people saying he’s not going to be able to handle the season, he’s not going to be a good football player. But it turns out that the more that he is pushed or challenged, he takes it to a new level,” Donna Kelce added

It’s pretty obvious that the spotlight is well and truly on Travis Kelce, and it seems like he is enjoying it. Kansas City Chiefs will soon be in action against the Miami Dolphins in the NFL International Game in Frankfurt this coming weekend. This also means that Travis Kelce will also be in action on Sunday.
