20. Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals

Matchup: Seattle Seahawks

Starting off our list at No. 20 is Jacoby Brissett. It seems the Kyler Murray era in Arizona is coming to a close, and Brissett may be the starter again next week. Since taking over as the starter, he’s been a pretty viable fantasy option, and that shouldn’t change much this week. He isn’t my top choice, but if you’re hurting this week and need some help, he should be available on waivers.

19. C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans

Matchup: Jacksonville Jaguars

C.J. Stroud is dealing with a concussion, so there’s a chance Davis Mills starts, but it’s too early to tell, so I’m going with it being Stroud. He has been very disappointing this season, but he has a very good matchup against Jacksonville, so he should be able to put up at least 14 points this weekend.

18. Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ers

Matchup: Los Angeles Rams

After a couple of really bad games, Mac Jones has bounced back with back-to-back 16+ point performances. He has a tough matchup this week, but I think there will be a fair amount of points scored in this game. Expect a lot of check-downs to Christian McCaffrey, but we know he’s capable of breaking those for a big touchdown, which should help Jones’ fantasy production against a good pass rush.

17. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers

Matchup: New Orleans Saints

Despite the Panthers’ 5-4 start, Bryce Young has not been a very good fantasy football option. He’s QB28 on the year, but has a very favorable matchup against the Saints, who are a dumpster fire right now. I don’t think he has a ton of upside, but he should find some success against New Orleans.

16. Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers

Matchup: Los Angeles Chargers

Aaron Rodgers has been a very average, but steady, fantasy performer this season. He’s averaging nearly 17 points per game, but has a very tough matchup against the Chargers, who give up the third-least points to opposing quarterbacks. I still think he’ll have a decent game, but probably won’t score more than 18 points.

15. J.J. McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings

Matchup: Baltimore Ravens

J.J. McCarthy is back and played very well against the Lions this past weekend. Now, he gets to face a Ravens defense that gives up about 19 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. I’m not sure how high his ceiling is this week, but his floor should be around that 15-point mark.

14. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

Matchup: New York Giants

Caleb Williams is coming off one of his best games of the season, and now gets a Giants defense that allows the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. His fantasy production has been a bit inconsistent this season, which scares me a bit, but he should be a solid start this week.

13. Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks

Matchup: Arizona Cardinals

Sam Darnold has been a rock-solid fantasy performer this year. He’s QB13, but is only rostered in 62 percent of Sleeper leagues. He could be available on your waivers this week, and if he is, I advise picking him up. When your starter is hurt or on a bye, he’s a guaranteed 16+ points, and this week should be no different.

12. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts

Matchup: Atlanta Falcons

Daniel Jones is having a great season, but he just got shut down by the Steelers this past weekend. Now he has to face a Falcons defense that is allowing a tad over 14 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Not a great matchup, but he should still be a good option.

11. Jaxson Dart, New York Giants

Matchup: Chicago Bears

Jaxson Dart has scored at least 17 points in every single one of his starts this season. He’s making plays with his arm, but his rushing upside is what makes him a top 15 quarterback every week. He also has a very favorable matchup against Chicago this week, so he should be able to eclipse that 17-point mark once again and be a top 10-ish fantasy quarterback.

10. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Matchup: New England Patriots

Baker Mayfield was the talk of the town at the beginning of the season, but with so many injuries on the Buccaneers’ offense, he’s kind of been forgotten, especially after a bye last week. He returns to the field this week and faces a pretty good New England defense. However, I think this game will have a fair amount of scoring, and Mayfield should put up solid numbers through the air.

9. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

Matchup: Philadelphia Eagles

Jordan Love is QB11 on the season, but he’s been very up and down in fantasy this year. He’s scored 13 or less in two of his last three games, but the Eagles haven’t been anything special against the pass. I would probably have Love higher, but he just lost his favorite target, Tucker Kraft, for the year, so it might affect his performance a little bit.

8. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos

Matchup: Las Vegas Raiders

Despite his struggles early in games, Bo Nix has been a fantastic fantasy quarterback this year. He’s QB5 on the season, and that’s largely due to his performance in the fourth quarter. He shouldn’t need to play hero ball in the fourth this week, though. He faces a very bad Raiders team that should give up a ton of points.

7. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Matchup: Washington Commanders

Jared Goff has been surprisingly disappointing as a fantasy player this season, but I love his matchup this weekend. The Commanders give up the third-most points to quarterbacks this season, and with Jayden Daniels out, this should be a slaughter. I also think they’ll be able to run the ball well, which will open up the passing game.

6. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Matchup: San Francisco 49ers

I feel like I should put Matthew Stafford higher on this list because he’s playing as good as anybody right now, but there are just some other matchups I like a lot more. San Fran’s defense isn’t as good as it’s been in years past, but they’re still a pretty solid unit. I think Stafford can put 20+points on the board, but there are a handful of QBs I like better this week.

5. Drake Maye, New England Patriots

Matchup: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Drake Maye has been on fire this season, and I think this matchup is going to be very fun. Both defenses are good, but their offenses are better, so there should be a good amount of points put on the board. I think Maye throws for 250 yards and at least two touchdowns this Sunday, which puts him towards the top of this list.

4. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Matchup: Green Bay Packers

The Eagles and Packers play under the lights on Monday night, and I believe there will be a lot of points scored in this game. Jalen Hurts and the rest of the Eagles’ offense has really come around in the last couple of games, and after a disappointing outing, I expect the Packers to come out swinging. Both teams are going to trade blows, which should lead to a big night for Hurts.

3. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers

Justin Herbert has been one of the steals of the draft in fantasy football. He’s QB2 on the year and has scored 26+ in each of his last three. I’m a bit concerned about the offensive line situation with both tackles out for the year, but the Steelers give up the fifth-most points to opposing quarterbacks, so he should be fine.

2. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

Matchup: Minnesota Vikings

Lamar Jackson’s rushing ability makes him a top-three quarterback pretty much every week. Now that he’s healthy, the Ravens’ offense should really start finding its stride, and the Vikings’ defense hasn’t really posed much of a threat to opposing quarterbacks this year. Expect Jackson to have another big game on Sunday.

1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Matchup: Miami Dolphins

Our top quarterback this week is none other than Josh Allen. Not only is Allen one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but he plays one of the worst defenses in the league this week as well. I do worry a bit about a potential blowout limiting how often he’ll throw the ball, but he should put up quite a few points regardless.
