Outside of Byemageddon a couple of weeks back, we haven’t seen a bye week as impactful to fantasy as this week, especially at the wide receiver position. There are a ton of notable names who are off this week, so today I’ll be ranking my top 20 wide receivers for Week 10 based on how I think they’ll perform in fantasy.

Watch What’s Trending Now!

Notable Wide Receivers on bye

  • Ja’Marr Chase
  • Tee Higgins
  • Rashee Rice
  • Xavier Worthy
  • CeeDee Lamb
  • George Pickens
  • Calvin Ridley

Before we get into it, here are a handful of receivers who just missed out on the top 20, but are still very viable starting options this week.

  • Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers
  • Marvin Harrison, Arizona Cardinals
  • Tet McMillan, Carolina Panthers
  • Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears
  • Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Jordan Addison, Minnesota Vikings
  • Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers

Projections are based on full-point PPR scoring system.

Matchup: Los Angeles Chargers

Kicking off our list at No. 20 is DK Metcalf. He’s been pretty consistent this year, but is coming off his worst game of the season and has a pretty tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. I don’t hate him as a start this week, but his floor is pretty low. I still think he’ll sneak into the double-digits, though.

Projection: 11.4 points

19. Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos

Matchup: Las Vegas Raiders

Courtland Sutton is enjoying a very good season with Bo Nix under center. He’s been very consistent, averaging about 13-16 points per game, and I love his matchup this week. I am a bit afraid that Troy Franklin is going to keep eating into his targets (he’s had 28 in the past three weeks), but Sutton should find success against Vegas.

Projection: 12.0 points

18. Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

Matchup: Carolina Panthers

Rashid Shaheed has been dealt, leaving Chris Olave as the New Orleans Saints’ clear-cut WR1. He has very little competition on the outside now (though I do think Devaughn Vele will get more targets now), but I don’t trust the quarterback situation. Tyler Shough has looked pretty good physically – he’s got a good arm and can throw into tight windows – but I still worry about just how high this offense’s ceiling is.

Projection: 12.1 points

17. Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants

Matchup: Chicago Bears

Wan’Dale Robinson has quietly been the WR18 in PPR leagues this year. He’s scored 13+ in three of his last four games, and he and Jaxson Dart seem to have a very good connection. He has a pretty average matchup this week against Chicago, so he should be in for another double-digit outing.

Projection: 12.5 points

16. Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

article-image

Matchup: New England Patriots

Emeka Egbuka is in a slump right now, but that’s largely because he’s had to carry this receiving core on his back. Chris Godwin could come back this week, and in a very important game against New England, I expect Baker Mayfield to target his best receiver more often than not. He’d be higher, but Christian Gonzalez is going to be shadowing him for most of the game, which is a bit scary for fantasy owners.

Projection: 12.8 points

15. Stefon Diggs, New England Patriots

Matchup: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On the other side of the field will be Stefon Diggs, who will be going toe-to-toe (metaphorically, since they’ll never be on the field together) with Egbuka on Sunday. I think both of these guys are pretty even in terms of how I think they’ll perform this week. I just have Diggs higher because he doesn’t have to face a corner at the same level as Gonzalez.

Projection: 13.0 points

14. DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles

Matchup: Green Bay Packers

DeVonta Smith is one of two Philadelphia Eagles who find themselves on this list. He and his teammate AJ Brown (who we’ll talk about in just a minute) are going to be neck-and-neck pretty much every week. The only reason I have Smith lower than Brown is because I think Brown’s upside is higher each week.

Projection: 13.1 points

13. Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens

Matchup: Minnesota Vikings

Zay Flowers has been performing all season long, regardless of who’s under center in Baltimore, but now that Lamar Jackson is back, his production should only increase. He’s easily the WR1 on the Ravens, so he’s going to see about seven targets a game. I don’t love his matchup this week, but I don’t hate it either. Should be a pretty solid start.

Projection: 13.5 points

12. AJ Brown, Philadelphia Eagles

Matchup: Green Bay Packers

Like I said earlier, Brown tops his teammate just because I think he’s a bit more capable of having a big game than Smith. He does face a pretty tough matchup against a solid Green Bay defense, but Jalen Hurts is playing well, and the Eagles’ passing attack has been clicking in recent weeks, so he should still have a good game.

Projection: 14.1 points

11. Garrett Wilson, New York Jets

Matchup: Cleveland Browns

I love Garrett Wilson. I hate the New York Jets for the rest of the year. They are obviously tanking, and I don’t think their offense is going to have much success the rest of the year. Still, Wilson has proven he can be a consistent fantasy weapon when healthy, even with their offensive struggles. He should be back this week, and despite the tough matchup, he should be a viable fantasy option. This week will tell us a lot about his fantasy reliability for the rest of the year.

Projection: 14.9 points

10. Michael Pittman, Indianapolis Colts

Matchup: Atlanta Falcons

Michael Pittman has been the main beneficiary of Daniel Jones’ resurgence in Indianapolis. Even though the Colts’ offense was ground to a halt (at least compared to past weeks) last time out, Pittman scored 20 points. In fact, he’s had 20+ in each of his last three games. He’s going to be a top 10 option more often than not, but he’s playing in Germany this week, and those European games can be a bit weird, so he’s right on the fringe this week.

Projection: 15.0 points

9. Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers

Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers

Ladd McConkey had his worst game of the month last time out, but he has a very favorable matchup against one of the worst pass defenses in football. The Pittsburgh Steelers give up the most fantasy points to opposing receivers in the league, so expect a big week from McConkey.

Projection: 15.6 points

8. Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams

Matchup: San Francisco 49ers

Before the season, I was very skeptical about Davante Adams in fantasy. I thought Puka Nacua would get too many targets for him to be successful, but Matthew Stafford has been able to get both guys the ball consistently, and they’re both top 10 fantasy wide receivers. I don’t think he’ll have multi-touchdown game for the third straight week, but he should be a very good option in Week 10.

Projection: 15.7 points

7. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons

Matchup: Indianapolis Colts

It’s hard to predict Drake London any lower than this because of how well he’s been playing, but I’m scared for his matchup. Sauce Gardner still needs to learn the Colts’ system, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he just follows London around in man coverage with safety help over the top. I’m not saying he won’t have a good game, because he probably will, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he doesn’t.

Projection: 15.8 points

6. Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins

Matchup: Buffalo Bills

Jaylen Waddle has been on a tear since Tyreek Hill went out, and I don’t expect that to stop this week. Miami’s going to have to throw the ball a lot if they want to beat their AFC East rivals, and every time Tua Tagovailoa drops back, he’s at least glancing Waddle’s way. Expect another big game from him.

Projection: 16.0 points

5. Nico Collins, Houston Texans

Matchup: Jacksonville Jaguars

It looks like C.J. Stroud could miss this game, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing for Nico Collins. Backup quarterbacks love throwing to their best receiver because they can make them look good. Collins was targeted 11 times last game, mostly by Davis Mills, so I expect him to look Collins’ way quite often on Sunday. Plus, Jacksonville’s defense isn’t very good.

Projection: 16.9 points

4. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings

article-image

Imago

Matchup: Baltimore Ravens

Two of Justin Jefferson’s best fantasy performances this season have come with J.J. McCarthy under center. That’s impressive considering he’s played just three games this year. These two have an obvious connection, especially in the red zone. With Carson Wentz at QB, Jefferson didn’t have a single touchdown, and he has two in three games with McCarthy. High upside this week against a bad Baltimore defense.

Projection: 17.5 points

3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

Matchup: Washington Commanders

I love this matchup for Amon-Ra St. Brown. The Washington Commanders’ defense is not very good, especially against the pass, so St. Brown should have a field day. I do worry about the Lions running away with this and running the football a lot in the second half, but St. Brown should be a part of that blowout early, so he could have 15+ by halftime.

Projection: 18.7 points

2. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams

Matchup: San Francisco 49ers

Puka Nacua is always going to be a top-three receiver. I don’t care that he’s banged up a bit; if he’s on the field, he’s going to get his fair share of targets. I think this game will be fairly close, so the Rams are going to have to throw the ball quite often (which they already do). No reason to expect anything but a big game from Nacua.

Projection: 19.5 points

1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks

Matchup: Arizona Cardinals

Finally, Jaxon Smith-Njigba is my No. 1 fantasy wide receiver this week. No matter who they’re playing, JSN always seems to have a big game, and recently he’s been finding the end zone much more often. Arizona’s pass defense isn’t awful, but they’re not great. I expect JSN to have his fifth consecutive 20+ point performance this weekend.

Projection: 21.5 points
