Week 7 of the NFL season is set to wrap up on Monday night. Sunday wasn’t as entertaining as the past couple of weeks, but we were still treated to some thrilling games, such as the Denver Broncos vs New York Giants.

Despite the lack of thrilling games, there were quite a few standout performances around the league. Today, we’re going to identify the top 10 players of the week.

Note: We only consider one player — either offensive or defensive — from each game.

10. DaRon Bland, CB, Dallas Cowboys

Rounding out our list at No. 10 is Dallas Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland. Bland became famous for setting the NFL single-season pick-six record in 2023, but hasn’t been much of a factor on a struggling Cowboys defense since. However, he came up big on Sunday, recording seven tackles, one pass breakup, and of course, a pick-six.

9. Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns dropped 31 points on the Miami Dolphins this weekend, but that was not due to their passing attack. Dillon Gabriel threw for 116 yards on 18 attempts, but it was Quinshon Judkins who did the bulk of the work offensively.

Judkins carried the ball 25 times for 84 yards and scored three touchdowns. He was basically the Browns entire offense, so even though he averaged 3.4 yards per carry, he lands on this list.

Stat Line: 25 carries, 84 yards, 3 TD

8. DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eagles

DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown both had great days on Sunday, but Smith beat out his teammate to land on this list. It took quite a while, but Smith and Hurts were finally on the same page this weekend, linking up for nine catches, 183 yards and a touchdown.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ offense clicked for the first time all season on Sunday. Now we have to see if they can keep it up for the rest of the year.

Stat Line: 9 receptions, 183 yards, TD

7. Derrick Brown, DT, Carolina Panthers

Derrick Brown had himself a day on Sunday is the Carolina Panthers’ win over the New York Jets. The Panthers’ star DT was all over the backfield, logging two sacks and three QB hits, but also knocking down three passes. Oh, and he also led the team with seven tackles.

Stat Line: 7 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 QB hits, 3 passes defended

6. Christian McCaffrey, RB, San Francisco 49ers

This was just a classic Christian McCaffrey game. You didn’t even know he was having as big of a game as he was until you checked the box score.

McCaffrey went off against the Falcons, rushing for 129 yards and two touchdowns while adding seven catches for 72 yards on Sunday Night Football. He was literally the 49ers entire offense. He had 60 percent of the Niners’ yards, and even when the Falcons knew it was going to him, they couldn’t stop it.

It was a great performance, but there were five players I think had a better day.

Stat Line: 24 carries, 129 yards, 7 receptions, 72 receiving yards, 2 TD

5. Bo Nix, QB, Denver Broncos

The Broncos had absolutely no life through the first three quarters of their game against the Giants. They entered the fourth quarter trailing 19-0, but rallied and scored 33 points in the fourth to comeback and win, 33-32. If you missed the end of that game, I’m sorry, because it was about as thrilling as it gets.

As you can imagine, Bo Nix was the catalyst for the Broncos’ late comeback. Over 200 of his yards and all four of his touchdowns came in the final 15 minutes of the came and the Broncos scratched and clawed their way back into it. He was nowhere near sniffing this list in the first three quarters, but that fourth quarter performance has to be rewarded.

Stat Line: 27-for-50, 279 passing yards, 48 rushing yards, 4 total TD

4. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts

Jonathan Taylor had himself a day against the Los Angeles Chargers, totaling 122 yards and three touchdowns in the Indianapolis Colts’ big win. He has been the X-factor for the Colts’ offense this season. Without him, Daniel Jones and Co. wouldn’t be having the same success through the air that they’ve enjoyed to start the year.

It’s about time we start mentioning Taylor in the MVP conversation, because he absolutely deserves to be in the discussion.

Stat Line: 16 carries, 94 rushing yards, 3 receptions, 38 receiving yard, 3 TD

3. Micah Parsons, DE, Green Bay Packers

Our top defender of the week goes to none other than Micah Parsons. The Green Bay Packers paid top dollar for Parsons’ talents this offseason, and while he’s been good, he was yet to take over a game. Well, he did that on Sunday, logging three sacks, four tackles for loss and five QB hits.

The Packers are starting to reap the benefits of their investment. He played a big part in the Packers escaping with a narrow victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Stat Line: 3 sacks, 4 TFL, 5 QB hits

2. Joe Flacco, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Flacco and the Cincinnati Bengals had no business winning that game on Thursday night. The Pittsburgh Steelers should’ve ran them out of town, but prime Flacco came to play, and he had a massive game, throwing for 342 yards and three scores against the Steelers, who he is now 12-11 against in the regular season.

The best part of this performance was his connection with Ja’Marr Chase. You can tell he’s never had a receiver as talented as Chase, because he targeted him on just under 50 percent of his throws. It was a great performance for the veteran QB, and the Bengals might still have a shot at the playoffs.

Stat Line: 31-for-47, 342 yards, 3 TD

1. Matthew Stafford, QB, Los Angeles Rams

What a day Matthew Stafford had in London. The Los Angeles Rams made a questionable decision, flying out super late in the week, but it didn’t matter. Stafford carved up the Jags defense, throwing for 182 yards and FIVE touchdowns, which was the most in an international game ever.

Stafford didn’t have a 300+ yard day, but he was decisive and surgical in the red zone, which helped the Rams earn a massive win over Jacksonville.

Stat Line: 21-for-33, 182 yards, 5 TD
