At the end of every Monday, outlets from across the world compile their weekly NFL power rankings. Everyone is convinced their rankings are correct, and yet, nobody ever agrees on the perfect way to rank all 32 NFL teams.

That’s why at EssentiallySports, we not only produce our own power rankings, but also compile UberRankings, which uses multiple outlets to identify each team’s average ranking. We then rerank all 32 NFL teams based on their average score.
In addition to the ES power rankings, we’ve compiled each team’s ranking from Yahoo, Bleacher Report, ESPN, NFL.com, Sports Illustrated, FOX, CBS, Pro Football Talk, and the New York Times to give you a full look at the range of NFL experts’ opinions on where your team stands in the bigger picture.

Every single one of the nine outlets used in the UberRankings agrees that the New York Jets are the worst team in the NFL. They’re the only winless team in the league, and they don’t seem to have any hopes of getting that first win anytime soon.
31. Tennessee Titans (1-6)
UberRank: 30.4
Last Week: 30.7
Change: Up 0.3
The Tennessee Titans actually slightly improved their UberRanking this week despite suffering a three-score loss to the New England Patriots. They were ranked as high as No. 29 by CBS, and as low as No. 31 by ES, ESPN, Yahoo, NFL, and B/R.
30. Miami Dolphins (1-6)
UberRank: 30.3
Last Week: 29.7
Change: Down 0.6
The Miami Dolphins just edged out the Titans by 0.1. They were ranked as high as No. 29 by FOX, and as low as No. 31 by SI, CBS, PFT, and NYT.
29. New Orleans Saints (1-6)
UberRank: 28.5
Last Week: 28.1
Change: Down 0.4
After a tough loss to the Chicago Bears, the New Orleans Saints found themselves at the bottom of most power rankings. They peaked at No. 27 on SI’s rankings, but CBS had them all the way down at 30.

28. Las Vegas Raiders (2-5)
UberRank: 28.4
Last Week: 26.2
Change: Down 2.2
The Las Vegas Raiders could do nothing – and I mean absolutely nothing – against the Kansas City Chiefs, losing 31-0 on Sunday. As a result, they plummeted in most power rankings, but surprisingly, CBS still had them as their No. 25 team (I don’t know what they were thinking there). Their lowest ranking came from FOX, which had them all the way down at No. 31.
27. Cleveland Browns (2-5)

UberRank: 26.5
Last Week: 28.8
Change: Up 2.3
The Cleveland Browns made a decent-sized leap after their 31-6 victory over the Dolphins. ESPN had them ranked the highest of everybody, coming in at No. 25, and CBS had them the lowest at No. 28.
26. Arizona Cardinals (2-5)
UberRank: 25.8
Last Week: 24.5
Change: Down 1.3
The Arizona Cardinals lost a close one to the Green Bay Packers, and slightly fell in the UberRankings. CBS and ESPN had Arizona all the way up at No. 24, but SI’s No. 28 placement tanked their UberRank a bit.
25. New York Giants (2-5)
UberRank: 25
Last Week: 24.1
Change: Down 0.9
After losing embarrassingly, the New York Giants only received a slight drop in the UberRankings. The NYT had the Giants all the way up at No. 23, while ESPN had them down at No. 27.

24. Baltimore Ravens (1-5)
UberRank: 23.8
Last Week: 23.8
Change: 0
The Baltimore Ravens had a bye week and stayed in the same spot as last week. Yahoo has them drastically higher than everyone else, coming in at No. 18 on their power rankings, while everyone else has them in the 23-26 range.
23. Cincinnati Bengals (3-4)
UberRank: 22.7
Last Week: 26.5
Change: Up 3.8
The Cincinnati Bengals made a massive leap after their win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last Thursday. They received drastically different rankings from everybody, with SI having them as high as No. 19 and CBS having them as low as No. 27.
22. Houston Texans (2-5)

UberRank: 22
Last Week: 19.9
Change: Down 2.1
The Houston Texans lost to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night, and it dropped them 2.1 spots in the UberRankings. FOX had the Texans the highest at No. 19 while B/R and PFT had them the lowest at No. 23. Only two publications – EssentiallySports and Yahoo – had the Texans at No. 22.
21. Minnesota Vikings (3-3)
UberRank: 20
Last Week: 18.6
Change: Down 1.4
The Minnesota Vikings weren’t punished too hard for their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. They ranked as high as No. 16 by CBS and as low as No. 23 by FOX. Only EssentiallySports and Yahoo had them at No. 21.

20. Carolina Panthers (4-3)
UberRank: 19.6
Last Week: 21.2
Change: Up 1.6
The Carolina Panthers just keep on climbing the rankings with each win. Their highest ranking came from the NYT, which had them all the way up at No. 17, while their lowest ranking came from Yahoo, which had them down at No. 23. Coincidentally, not one publication had them at No. 20.
19. Washington Commanders (3-4)
UberRank: 19.2
Last Week: 17.2
Change: Down 2
The Washington Commanders were embarrassed by the Dallas Cowboys this week, which led to them dropping two places in the UberRankings. B/R had them as high as No. 16, which really boosted their rank, but most publications had them in the 20-22 range.
18. Atlanta Falcons (3-3)
UberRank: 17.7
Last Week: 15.2
Change: Down 2.5
The Atlanta Falcons were brought back to Earth after beating the Buffalo Bills a couple of weeks ago. They were a very divisive team, though, with FOX having them at No. 14 and SI having them at No. 22. EssentiallySports and ESPN both had them at No. 18.

The Cowboys made one of the biggest leaps this week, rising 4.8 spots in the UberRankings. EssentiallySports and Yahoo gave them their highest ranking at No. 15, while NFL.com and B/R had them down at No. 20, their lowest ranking.

16. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-3)

Top Stories
Just like the Cowboys had one of the biggest rises, the Jacksonville Jaguars had one of the biggest falls of the week. PFT still has them as the No. 13-ranked team in the league, but SI and CBS have them all the way down at No. 20.
15. Los Angeles Chargers (4-3)
UberRank: 15.8
Last Week: 13.8
Change: Down 2
The Los Angeles Chargers just got beaten down by the Indianapolis Colts, and as a result, they fell two places. Yahoo was still kind enough to give them the No. 13 spot in their rankings, but their No. 20 ranking from FOX tanked their UberRank pretty hard.
14. Chicago Bears (4-3)
UberRank: 14
Last Week: 17.5
Change: Up 3.5
As a Saints fan, it’s nice seeing teams get so much credit for beating us with our 1-6 record. The Bears rose 3.5 spots this week following their win, and unlike most teams, all publications were within a few places of each other. The Bears peaked at No. 13 on EssentiallySports, SI, and CBS, while their lowest rank of No. 16 came from FOX.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2)
UberRank: 13.3
Last Week: 9.9
Change: Down 3.6
The Steelers plummeted 3.6 spots in the UberRankings after their loss to the Bengals. Outside of Yahoo, which stuck the Steelers down at No. 17, everyone else had them ranked between No. 12 and No. 14.

12. New England Patriots (5-2)

UberRank: 11.2
Last Week: 12.7
Change: Up 1.5
The Patriots just keep on winning and winning, which has allowed them to slowly but surely climb everyone’s power rankings. Only one publication – CBS – has them in the top 10, coming in at No. 9, while SI has them as low as No. 14, which feels quite disrespectful.
11. San Francisco 49ers (5-2)
UberRank: 10.4
Last Week: 12.8
Change: Up 2.4
The San Francisco 49ers, despite all their injuries, just keep finding ways to win. They peaked as high as No. 7 on EssentiallySports and FOX this week, but PFT had them all the way down at No. 14.
10. Denver Broncos (5-2)
UberRank: 8.9
Last Week: 8.7
Change: Down 0.2
This is where things start to get very tight. The Broncos occupy the No. 10 spot despite having an UberRank of 8.9. PFT had Denver ranked as high as No. 5, while ESPN, SI, and FOX all had them at No. 11.
9. Buffalo Bills (4-2)
UberRank: 8.3
Last Week: 7.2
Change: Down 1.1
The Bills fell 1.1 spots despite not playing this past weekend. With two straight losses and then a bye, people tend to forget about you, which is probably why the NYT has the Bills down at No. 12. They are still getting respect from some outlets, though, such as Yahoo, which has them up at No. 5.

8. Seattle Seahawks (5-2)
UberRank: 7.3
Last Week: 7.5
Change: Down 0.2
Despite beating the Texans, the Seahawks fell 0.2 in this week’s power rankings (probably due to not many people staying up til after midnight to watch). SI had the Seahawks all the way up at No. 3 while B/R and FOX both had them at No. 10, which to me makes absolutely no sense.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2)

UberRank: 6.4
Last Week: 1.1
Change: Down 5.3
Tampa Bay loses a game without four of their top five offensive weapons to one of the best teams in the league, and they drop 5.3 spots. Makes sense. FOX still gave the Bucs a lot of respect by putting them at No. 3, but Yahoo dropped them all the way down to No. 9.
6. Green Bay Packers (4-1-1)
UberRank: 6.2
Last Week: 5.8
Change: Down 0.4
Want to talk about not making sense? Why are the Packers this high? They’re struggling to beat middling teams, and yet, CBS has them as its No. 3 team. We at EssentiallySports have them down at No. 12, and frankly, they could’ve been lower. But they’re media darlings because of their storied history, so they’ll continue to sit in the top 10 until they finally play another good team.
5. Philadelphia Eagles (5-2)
UberRank: 6.2
Last Week: 7.3
Change: Up 1.1
The Eagles got back in the win column with a big victory over the Vikings, and their offense finally started to click. ESPN has them as the No. 3 team in the league, but CBS (rightfully) has them all the way down at No. 12.

4. Los Angeles Rams (5-2)
UberRank: 5.1
Last Week: 6
Change: Up 0.9
The Rams whooped up on the Jags in London this week, which saw them get a slight boost and jump to No. 4 in the UberRankings. B/R and FOX were close to giving them the top spot, but what’s more surprising is Yahoo having the Rams at No. 11.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (4-3)
UberRank: 4.1
Last Week: 7.9
Change: Up 3.8
The Chiefs decimated the Raiders, 31-0, on Sunday, and received a massive boost in the UberRankings. They’d be much higher if it weren’t for FOX having them down at No. 9, but Yahoo and SI having them at No. 1 certainly helped them reach the top three.
2. Detroit Lions (5-2)

1. Indianapolis Colts (6-1)
UberRank: 2
Last Week: 3.9
Change: Up 1.9
The Colts got a massive win over the Chargers on Sunday afternoon to launch themselves into the top spot in the UberRankings. EssentiallySports, B/R, CBS, and PFT all had the Colts as the top team in the league, and only one – FOX – had them outside the top three.
