The 31-year-old Aaron Lynch is looking to take a page out of Blake Martinez’s book. According to reports, the former Jacksonville Jaguars edge rusher is looking to make a comeback after 4 years. Will he be able to mimic Martinez and his success?

Over the years, several football stars have made a comeback after retirement. However, only a handful of them have found success. But the biggest hurdle in a comeback is a training workout with a prospective team. Which team is looking to hire Lynch to bolster their defensive line?

The former Las Vegas Raiders LB Martinez retired in 2022 after finding success in selling rare Pokémon cards. However, within less than a year he was back to the gridiron, eventually signing with the Steelers. Now Lynch is trying to do the same, but almost half a decade after putting down his cleats.

As per reports, Lynch conducted a positive workout for the Cleveland Browns. However, the results and assessment of this workout with the Browns are unclear as of now. It could be possible that Lynch might try out for other teams as well.

And the former San Francisco 49ers defensive end would want to get in his groove as soon as possible to join the roster. However, he will also be aware of the minuscule number of footballers who have thrived after retirement. Will he join the illustrious list?

Tom Brady famously retired for 40 days before making a comeback and winning the Super Bowl with the Bucs. However, QB Brett Favre did not end up winning the Super Bowl after making his comeback for the New York Jets, but he did receive Pro Bowl honors.

Coach Prime, Deion Sanders, also came back after being in a 4-year retirement just like Lynch is about to. After joining the Baltimore Ravens in 2004, Sanders went on to have one of the best years of his career in terms of assisted tackles.
