Have you ever watched a movie or a show and adapted its main character? Its background music always plays in your head, and you even try to copy the mannerisms of that one character who inspired you the most. Some movies just hit straight to your heart. You feel sad when they’re over, wishing you could transport yourself into that world. That’s the kind of impact cinema can have on you. FOX’s sportscaster, Charissa Thompson, has been feeling a bit sad about something similar lately.

Charissa Thompson invests in a ranch after watching Yellowstone
When you have money, you can transport yourself into the world of movies. And Charissa Thompson did exactly that. The 42-year-old was so invested in Yellowstone that she decided to buy a ranch sometime in 2022. But it wasn’t just the series, Charissa loves animals and enjoys being around nature as much as possible. So, she made this big investment and now owns her own ranch, called ‘Ruby Ranch Life.’ As soon as Charissa wraps up the NFL season, she heads straight to her vacation home. And guess what she does in the mornings there? The 42-year-old feeds the chickens and lets the dogs run all over the property while she soaks in the morning sun.

Charissa’s love for nature and animals is very much visible on her Instagram feed, where she often shares pictures from her ranch. Ruby Ranch Life also has two large ponds, which are her favorite spot. She loves to sit by them and soak in all the calmness. Back in August, Thompson lost her dog, Pilot, who had lived on the ranch for almost 10 years. “There is only ONE bad thing about being a dog Mom… it’s having to say goodbye. Pilot fiercely protected Ruby Ranch for over 10 years and I was lucky enough to be his Mom for the last few. I love you sweet boy & I only wish we had more time with you. Rest easy you sweet boy 🫶🏽. @rubyranchlife”, shared the Sportscaster.
Well, now that the NFL season will be wrapping up in almost two months, Charissa will once again have time to head back to her ranch. Fans are excited to see more heavenly pictures from there.
