The Thursday night football game was quite thrilling this time. As soon as it seemed like the Dallas Cowboys were winning, the Seattle Seahawks would do something that allowed them to score points, and vice versa. However, the matchups were finally won by the Cowboys with 41-35.
As per the NFL standings, Seahawks now sit with 6 wins and 6 losses, and Cowboys now have a record of 9 wins and 3 losses. As the Hawks were hopeful for a wildcard claim, the efforts of Geno Smith and DK Metcalf couldn’t help them add some chances to it. And the team fell flat at AT&T Stadium.

A wildcard claim slipping from Hawks’ hands!
If Seattle could have won two out of its next three games against tough opponents, its chances of making the playoffs could have been more than 80%. Unfortunately, since they lost one to the Cowboys, their chances have obviously decreased.

The Cowboys QB Dak Prescott and the Hawks QB Geno Smith had a close game. Jerry Jones’ team managed a 41-35 comeback win, staying undefeated at home this season. This was the Cowboys’ first win of the year against a team with a winning record, while the Seahawks lost their third game in a row.
Despite a great play by Metcalf with a 73-yard touchdown catch from QB Smith in the first quarter, the Cowboys ultimately secured the victory.

A brief and quick recap of the game!
The Cowboys needed a big defensive play, and they got it when Demarcus Lawrence stopped Zach Charbonnet on 4th and 1. The Seahawks were leading 35-30 at that point, but the Cowboys took the lead, 38-35. Geno Smith tried to move the ball but missed on three straight passes, leading to a field goal for Dak Prescott’s team.

Despite some mistakes, the Cowboys managed three fourth-down stops and an interception, barely holding on to win 41-35. Smith had a great first half but struggled in the fourth quarter, and Prescott’s team’s pass rush made a difference.
