Earlier this week, Russell Wilson was deemed “questionable” for the Pittsburgh Steelers game against the Denver Broncos tonight. The 35-year-old flew down to Denver for the home game, but it seems Justin Fields will be taking the field tonight. The 25-year-old did a decent job during the Week 1 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Though he had no touchdowns, he had 156 passing yards in the comfortable 18-10 win.

His teammates have noticed too. Steelers offensive tackle Dan Moore Jr., speaking in the locker room, said of the young quarterback, “He has a certain aura about him. People just kind of follow him, just naturally. When he speaks, you want to listen. He doesn’t say much, so when he does speak, it’s definitely something worth listening to. He has been a great leader for us.” With his teammates putting that kind of faith in him, Fields will be going into the Broncos game confidently.
