As the star player of the Phins is currently dealing with a rough phase, his friend and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa came in to support the ‘Cheetah.’

Miami are in the wildcard round and will play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium. But luck seemingly isn’t in favor of Miami, as besides the snowy thriller posing challenges for the Phins, their star player, Hill, is also dealing with multiple personal struggles. However, standing beside him, Tagovailoa praised his resilient friend during tough times.

Tua Tagovailoa fetes Hill’s professionalism!

The Phins QB Tua Tagovailoa appeared in a press conference on Wednesday after practice, ahead of his upcoming wildcard matchup against KC. A curious reporter asked the quarterback about Tyreek Hill’s professionalism and work in everyday practice, especially when dealing with some personal struggles, including his injuries. Tagovailoa said, “I think he’s such a very mentally tough individual.”

Tagovailoa continued, “From what had happened throughout, what he’s been going through with injuries and then also with the fire that happened at his house, he hadn’t made mention of it much to any of his teammates.” The quarterback further expressed that the team will still “show their support for him.” Praising Hill’s perceptiveness in life, Tagovailoa said, “It’s not about me and how he copes with it. It’s definitely different. He’s mentally strong with how he goes about doing his business.“

Hill recently suffered an ankle injury, so there were concerns about whether he would be out for the Week 18 game. But still, he returned to the Bills’ game. Meanwhile, he also experienced an unfortunate event when his $6.9 million home caught fire accidentally. Also, another issue happened with the wide receiver recently, causing concern among the franchise and the fans.

Tyreek Hill had a tough time already playing with a badly sprained ankle. Now, he has a fresh injury in the recent game against the Buffalo Bills ”” a quadriceps injury. This comes as he returns to KC for the first time since being traded to Miami.

The injury could have limited his practice if the Dolphins had started on-field preparations for the upcoming playoff game. Hill missed a game earlier because of his left ankle injury, but he played through the pain in the last three games, making significant contributions (1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns on 119 catches).

The problem is that the Dolphins heavily rely on Hill, their primary playmaker all season.
