Although Week 11 brought a win for the Baltimore Ravens, it also brought some painful news for the team. Coach John Harbaugh and the entire Evermore team prayed for their Pro Bowl tight end, Mark Andrews, who likely suffered a season-ending injury in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Mark Andrews had “a very serious ankle injury,” which was more than just a sprain.

The reason for the injury looking more painful was because of the way it happened. During the opening drive, Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson threw him to the ground with a hip-drop tackle, and Mark Andrews, as a result, was unable to get up. Since then, prayers have been on for the tight end, and now an update on his injury has come from Coach Harbaugh.

In a recent press conference, coach John Harbaugh mentioned that Mark Andrews, who is currently on the injured reserve, seems to be progressing well without any setbacks. The HC also highlighted, “I think he’s on schedule…..may be a little ahead of schedule.

John Harbaugh continued, “I don’t really know if that’s accurate to say, but I’ve seen him in their working and he’s in great spirits, and we’re hopeful.” Harbaugh emphasized that the team’s focus is on reaching the point where they are still playing when Andrews is ready to come back, and they are committed to giving their all for that. Andrews was seen in the Ravens locker room after practice last week while continuing his rehab from the ankle injury.

Mark Andrews is one of the best tight ends in the league, as he has shown consistency as a reliable pass catcher for the Ravens. I understand what it takes to be an athlete and perform at such a high level since I too have tasted small-time success in sports. As an athlete, I have bagged the coveted district-level championship in track events.
