Does Taylor Swift have competition? We’re obviously kidding. However, Darren Waller may already be planning for his “life after football“. And no, he’s not going to bank on his investments. Or his brand endorsements. He’s set to make a name in the entertainment industry.

And while you may think that it seems very random, it’s not. There’s precedent for that, and he didn’t even have to look far. It was right there in his home! So what are Waller’s plans from now on? And who is his inspiration?

Darren Waller to set aside football?

Waller is about as versatile as they come. He was picked up by the Giants only last year. Possibly not satisfied with football alone, he’s making inroads into the rap world. Dov Kleiman shared a snippet of his new rap song on X. If you went to his Instagram, it will tell you that it’s part of something bigger. Is he planning a single? Nope. The 31-year-old is working on an entire album!

This is not out of the blue, though. He already has a YouTube channel with over 11 music videos. And the most popular of those has over 812k views. But all that hasn’t distracted him from football. He has emerged as a key offensive weapon in the Giants’ schema. Unfortunately, his season came to an abrupt end in Week 8.
