Jimmy Kimmel came on to his late-night show and completely obliterated Aaron Rodgers after he made some crass remarks at Kimmel for being on Jeffery Epstein’s list. He mentioned that he would open a bottle if he saw Kimmel’s name there and later dubbed it as a joke. But his joke stirred up a lot of controversy all over the world and now, the QB is getting the backlash.

Jimmy Kimmel Live just uploaded a video on X in response to Aaron Rodgers which made him the laughingstock of the public as the late-night show tried to clarify the misconceptions. He roasted Rodgers for the entire 7 minutes of the video and the post is going viral by the second.

Kimmel pointed out how Rodgers’ remarks are making his life difficult and that he is only doing this to get back at Kimmel for making fun of his stance on UFO sightings and COVID-19 vaccination. He mentioned how the QB is suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect that says “a cognitive bias in which people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities.”

Pointing out the background of this altercation, Jimmy Kimmel tried to stay far away from the name “Epstein” and said, “It did come out and my name wasn’t on it and isn’t on it and won’t ever be on it. I don’t know Jeffrey Epstein, I’ve never met Jeffrey Epstein, I’m not in the list, I was not on the plane or an island or anything ever”

This isn’t something new happening between the two. They used to make jokes at each other’s expense but now, things have changed, and Aaron Rodgers is getting backlash from everywhere for making unfounded assumptions on The Pat McAfee Show. Even Stephen A. Smith came out and asked Rodgers to apologize to Jimmy Kimmel because his comments might put his career in jeopardy, even though he is not associated with the list.

The video got more and more humiliating for Rodgers as it progressed further as Kimmel addressed him as a “Whack Packer” and a QB who suddenly thought that he had authority on vaccination and not the world’s leading medicine experts. “He genuinely thinks that because God gave him the ability to throw a ball, he’s smarter than everyone else,” Kimmel further took a jab at A-Rod. Earlier this week, Kimmel threatened a lawsuit against Rodgers.

Kimmel condemned Aaron Rodgers’ reckless behavior

Rodgers’ 2024 kickoff seems troublesome for taking a swipe at Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel strongly criticized Aaron Rodgers for linking him with the late Jeffrey Epstein, even going as far as to threaten legal action against the quarterback. He called the veteran QB for putting his family in danger in an X post and said he has never “met, flown with, visited, or had any contacts whatsoever with Epstein.”

In March 2023, Kimmel mocked Rodgers for discussing the “Epstein list and UFOs” during a previous appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show.” Back then, the comedian referred to him as a “tin-foil hatter.”

Reportedly, a sealed list of 150 named associates was released earlier this week in late Epstein’s case following a court order from a federal judge in December. This reportedly included high-profile names like England’s Prince Andrew, former CEO of Microsoft Bill Gates, and Donald Trump. Jeffrey Epstein was an accused s*x t*afficker who hanged himself inside a jail cell in 2019.

One take at a time

Basketball has stuck with me ever since I was a kid. I remember watching Kobe Bryant sometime in 2008 and being blown away. Like every kid my age, I was utterly taken aback by his moves and abilities as an athlete.
