Young sensation Brock Purdy has hit the bull’s eye as the leading quarterback for the 49ers. He shrugged off all doubts and even received acknowledgment from Michael Lombardi as he “apologized” on behalf of the NFL community. The youngster has been churning out TDs at will, and the 49ers are now standing just behind the Eagles in the NFC division.

The 23-year-old quarterback has produced a career-defining performance this season. Purdy has just crossed the 3k passing yards mark. He has secured 23 TDs and just 6 INTs, which shows how good he is. Now, the Patriots coaching staff’s ex-keyman Lombardi has come forward to give his due respect to the swashbuckling QB

In The Pat McAfee Show, it was asserted that the people have started understanding how well Purdy is. However, they will still question his abilities, even if he wins the MVP or the Super Bowl honors. Lombardi doubted people’s abilities to understand the game of football and said, “They see it their way, and they just won’t change, you know. It’s hard to get them to see the obvious.”

He said he felt “embarrassed” as he had been a scouting pro and appreciated the 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan in trusting his guts to go with Purdy by saying, “Kyle Shanahan has complete faith in him.” He compared his capabilities to the legendary Joe Montana by appreciating his prowess. He said, “His rhythm, accuracy, (and) athleticism is sneaky good.”

He further appreciated his great timing in throwing the ball. He said, “All he does is just play point guard; he just distributes the football to the people in the right spot, and they have confidence in him.” The stats reflect the same, as Purdy has the best completion rate of 70.2 in the ongoing NFL season. Well, his last performance was a spotless spell of magic.
