Kelly Clarkson asked Brittany Mahomes, “Are you originally Texan?” Brittany Mahomes admitted, “I am,” and shared a close moment as they both are from Texas. Kelly Clarkson noticed every Texan grew up to be a Cowboys fan and asked Brittan Mahomes about the hard decision to become a Chiefs fan, “How hard was that the switchover?”

Brittany Mahomes took her time to reply and admitted, “I was not a Cowboys fan.” Clarkson quickly said that her manager is from the same place and not a Cowboys fan and sarcastically called her out on the betrayal, a “traitor.” Mahomes clarified, “I appreciate them because I am Texan at heart, and they work hard, and they are a great team.” She appreciated Kelly Clarkson cheekily,” Shout out to you for being a fan.” Clarkson noticed the subtle jab as the Cowboys were out of the playoffs and laughingly said, “Go Chiefs.”
